i have recorded on to sony dvd+rw many times using this machine
just bought a new pack of discs and got the message this disc cannot be played when i insert the disc and it ejects automatically
problem with the machine or a dodgy batch of discs?
i am pulling my hair our with this!!

hi ya. i have the 753 model when the same thing haapened to me turned out to be the disks.had to use them it other recorder first before i could use them in my machinne.hope this helps.all the best mark

the problem is i dont have another recorder

i have just looked closer and the old discs are
dvd-rw and the new ones
dvd + rw
perhaps the machine doesnt accept the format

if your system is like mine you can only record on minus not plus.
