Typical; she gets a potentially decent list of collaborators together and she neglects her music for a bloody film! Shame!

Also Umbongo, right now it seems she is prioritising and rightly so. It's best not to comprise the success of the new album by halting mid promo to film a movie you are already committed to doing.

Let her do the filming first and then release the album AFTER and focus all her attention on promoting the hell out of this new record next year.

Remember the new film with be a musical with a soundtrack also so we have alot of things to look forward to come 2010. I reckon it will be Xtina overload. Bring it on

Well three of the people she worked with all said it would be out later this year. I'm still holding for the November date. She never did that much promo for B2B and it still sold. So She doesn't need to go all out on promo.

I'm sure we will have it before Xmas. The movie starts filming the last week of November anyway.

She might release the single in November, perform it on X Factor and then release the album early 2010. Releasing the single in November, might just mean in the US though as the lead single is normally released two/three months prior to the album over there

I reckon we will hear the first single at least by November. The problem with Christina is that she keeps fans guessing right until the last moment. We had no idea about the radio thing unil Wednesday and it went live last night!

So who really knows. She could shock us all and release the album in November. I remember 'Ain't No Other Man' coming from no where.

I think someone is taking the piss because I can't see it being put back that long just because of movie. J Lo used to film several while releasing an album so its no bigger as most films take 6 to 7 weeks to film.

I get peeved about the long wait aswell. Let's wait till her new perfume promo begins end of Aug, we'll get some news about the new album *hopefully*

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we hear info soon. If we hear about it in August then we can say its happening but I think if we get to September and hear nothing we have to assume next year.

Everyone she worked with said it was 2009 though so I got all excited. If its 2010 I am going to be pissed and while I can't wait to see her and Cher in this movie I sadly think it has flop written all over it. so music should come first to her because that is what 98% of her fans want.

^ I'm more excited about the film than her new album personally, I love Christina but I really don't want her to go down the futuristic route. I know interviews have said there will be a few songs where she shows off her voice, but thats why we all love her, her big voice. ATM I'd much rather see her in a film. I don't think it will flop at all, I actually think she'll be a very good actress. I look forward to seeing something different. Like, I know we only have music videos to go by, but things like Hurt and Beautiful were convincing.

Also, if the music is going to be good, then I don't mind waiting. Imo, out of all the current divas, shes the only one who really cares about the quality of her record as opposed to the quantity it sells.

It appears she did have a listening party in her house two nights ago.

Sia made tweets about a listening party but people thought it was for her album, however she has since said this:

Which makes it sound like someone elses album other than hers and Sia is in LA at the moment
