Will I need to have iTunes 8? I've just got rid of it, kept crashing on the iTunes Store or refusing to open, I'd rather just stick with 7.7.

Can any recommend a good case that fits perfectly?

Thanks.

You MUST use iTunes 8.0 for the new classics.

For all new iPods, you will need to use iTunes 8.0. It's listed in the system requirements on Apple's website.

So was XP Service Pack 2, yet SP1 worked for me.

And? That's completely different. The new iPod OSes are written to work with iTunes 8.0 and above, nothing less. Try it out and see if you don't believe me.
