How many boxes can you run off 1 dish?

My parents are thinking of getting sky in to replace the cable.

I currently have a sky digibox in my room that i have just canceled so im on FTA stuff only, what we are wanting to do is have 1 box in the lounge and one in another bedroom on top of the one i have in my room( this will make 3 in total). The one in the lounge to be the main box and the other two to be mirror subs at £10 each, is this possible with one dish?

If not and another dish was installed would sky let my class two boxes as a mirror sub or not as one box will have its own dish.

You can run 4 sky boxes from one dish, or 2 sky+ boxes, or 1 sky+ and 2 sky boxes but you will need a quad LNB and if you are having standard sky boxes then you will have to buy this yourself.

There is a new octo LNB from Telves. This has as you might guess 8 ports. So you could run upto eight digi boxes from it or 4 Sky+s.
