poor rachel
she looked devastated and was crying

its the stupid points system...the three people joint first all got the most points, (which is however many couples there are now) then rachel got three points less than the highest points, which seems odd to me ...

i agree she really did look devastated she barely held it together when the judges were saying who they were saving, poor Rachel i felt very sorry for her tonight.

I don't know why she was nodding...and neither do you...but she and Vincent HAD danced the best.

I did too. Plus I don't think Rachel has ever been smug.

Gutted that Rachel was bottom two. Smug is not a word I'd used to describe Rachel, there are a few others however....... but this isn't the correct thread to start all that

Thank you, I was starting think I might be the only one who noticed his arrogance.

Says a lot about the guy, the one week he was not on top and he reacts like complete knob. But it's man world.

I don't really know a lot about the show but saw it tonight and a few other times.
Just had to comment on this thread for someone to be having a laugh at Rachel being in the bottom 2 when in another post they admit to voting for John Sargeant kinda makes someone look a bit stupid if you ask me.

Rachel seems a genuinely sweet person, who was devastated. Definitely not "smug".

Er, thanks for that observation, Sherlock.

Rachel is one of the least smug celebs. I think she's very nervous actually.

I do! She was pretending to be the nodding dog from the Churchill advert.

Too pretty, perhaps? I see nothing to dislike in Rachel. To me she just seems like a normal young woman, very pretty, but so are many. It's been compulsory for many years in our society to be beautiful. What puzzles me though is the hostility expressed on these forums towards both the beautiful and the not beautiful. I've even seen lists of celebrities and what's allegedly wrong with them, with one person "tries too hard" while another in the same list "doesn't try hard enough". It seems some people just can't be pleased.

Rachel doesn't seem to be the slightest bit smug to me. If anything she seems slightly insecure. As everyone has said she looked devastated.

I felt sorry for Rachel... being in the bottom two...she didn't deserve that after the brilliant dance she performed.

She certainly doesn't seem smug in my eyes.

I thought she looked like she was going to hyperventilate. Do smug people hyperventilate when they're being smug?

I really felt for Rachel tonight. I cant see that she is the least bit smug - I've always thought her to be one of the most nervous and genuine.

Exactly I'm always up for freedom of speech even when its my favourites but I don't think Rachel deserves this thread.
