i have to say Rachel seems like a lovely person and she shaked when she was saved she ust have been so relieved i would genuinely like to see her and Vincent do well as i find her and Christine genuine whereas i am never sure about Lisa or Cherie

Brilliant post....

He's smug....
She's definitely smug....
her next door neighbour looks pretty smug to me....
His pet tortoise is looking well smug these days.....
Did you see his child's reaction to that dance....one word springs to mind...SMUG!

I don't think that the majority of the GBP 'dislike' Rachel more that they are choosing to vote for others for other reasons.

For me her dance was okay last night and she didn't deserve to be in the dance off but for me there are other couples that I would rather spend my money voting for. I don't dislike either Rachel or Vincent and I have enjoyed their dancing but haven't voted for them.

People on here voice very extreme opinions IMO- much more than the average GBP voter.

Someone has to!

I was the same with Kate last year

But towards the end of each series I always switch allegiance to the serious contenders, so I like to think i do have some credibility

Emma used to top the table every week, then found she was in the bottom two every week.

I like her and vincent and i do not believe that she acted 'smug'.

I think that she has had unhelpful and esteem sapping comments from the judges and i suspect that there is more of a hidden agenda this year than ever with the scoring - len mentioned tonight about the possible winner being much harder to call than last year and i think that they are deliberately trying to sway public support.

John and Kristina dancing together now is like carry on strictly.

When it gets to the stage that decent dancers are ousted over someone who is coming out every week and walking around with a silly smile on his face then it all starts to go horribly wrong.

More votes for racheland vincent please!

Sid, I was also up for John to stay for a long time but I think the revolution has to stop now..........John can not take hard working and amazing dancers like Rachle place in the competition. It would be pure injustice.

Ditto

Rachel and Christine seem the sweetest and most sincere of the female celebrities this year. They are my favourites

It makes me wonder what forum members would say about me if I was chosen to go on SCD. I think I'm quite a nice person - kind to children and small animals etc - but I wonder if I'd be seen as smug, trying too hard, wanting to win too much, not being competitive enough? Everybody would think they know me and judge me but they wouldn't really, would they?

Hey Yas

I wouldn't be disappointed to see John leave next week. He's a had a damn good innings, but I've said all along that he deserved to outstay Heather (as lovely as she was).

She had 35 points and was in second place. I would fall to the floor if I got to the bottom two with marks like that.

I wondered that! How would we be edited? Who would vote for us (or not?)

hopefully this could be ablessing in disguise for Rachel and mean more people vote for her now.
Ive said this before but Matt D was in the dance off early on and still managed to get to the final. I dont see why Rachel cant still get to the final, shes the most consistent by far IMO.

So Rachel has gone from 'dead behind the eyes' and dull to smug? People really are unnecessarily nasty sometimes......
I saw someone who was absolutely devastated to be in the bottom two, and who looked like she was really struggling to hold herself together.... I really hope this doesn't knock her confidence but I fear it might.

Well, I'm fairly shy and quiet, and take a while to open up to people I don't know so I guess that would equal dull, vapid and 'dead behind the eyes' on here....

Hi Beanbean,

Yes I do remember you mentioning that about Matt, and I'm clinging onto that statistic in hope that the same happens to Rachel

I'm also glad the judges emphasised that the contenders need to excel at both Ballroom and Latin and only Rachel and Austin truly fall into that category so far....

I'm in complete agreement with you about Heather I really never took to her to be honest.

John and Kristane have entertained me greatly and I would probably still want them to stay next week if someone Like Austin was in the bottow two this week.

But to see Rachel and Vincent so happy backstage after their marks and the way they were crashed afterwards we can't have that next time.

I have been Inspired to vote for the first time in this series and I'm going to do just that for Rachel and Vincent next week.

Rachel is so expressionless how an earth could you tell she was smug?

Never has a judge been responsible for the overuse of one word.! Rachel isn't my favourite - but poor girl, you had to feel sorry for her. Last week Len, this week Arlene's eyes remark. How can anyone be happy watching someone realising that they may be the least supported celeb, particulary the insecure, which is,what alot of people in the entertainment business are.

Sid - even if you were worse than John, and Craig called you a 'disarster' I would still give you 10!!

hiya,
I also think one of the reasons rachel was upset is because she trained so hard this week, im sure Claudia said her and Vincent had trained the most out of everyone. So she must be really determined and im sure it would upset anyone to be in the bottom 2 especially as th ejudges praised her performance.
im all for a "journey" but i like consistency too and as you said Rachel and Austin are the only two showing that right now. All the rest have had at least one bad dance (possibly with tom as an exception)

I'd have to dance with Vincent as I'm a diamond that comes in a small package (eh?).
