Heather and the dance-off?

Firstly, someone has to be in the bottom 2.

Also, she fell between two stools, I think. One, she was not one of the top performers, lovely as she was, her nerves meant her performances were always strained and two, funnily, she wasn't bad enought to get the comedy/anti-judge vote, that was going to John.

She was lucky to survive as many dance offs as she did, because she was truly awful in some of her dances. I just wish that once she had danced as she did in training and wasn't so paralysed by nerves, but Saturday was as close as I think she was going to come to excellence, so at least she went out on a high.

I have voted for Brian and Heather. I saw her struggle with her nerves but still go out and dance and I admired her. Brian was fabulous, a great support to her - and I just liked them together. I am sorry to see them go.

Not been watching the last few weeks then .. both Jodie & Christine have received bad judges comments and a low score of 3 from Craig.

As some said, people may not be warmed to her. I do find her kind of cold as she rarely have eye contact with Brian, even when Brian was talking about her or talking to her, if I were Brian I would find it frustrating.

I thought it funny when Heathers boyfriend asked "what does she have to do to get better votes from the judges"?

As the race card didn't work, perhaps the answer was to dance better.

Deservedly out.

IMO, they have been praised far more than Heather had been, even though I feel that Christine isn't that good a dancer.

A little piece of trivia....yep I'm that sad :
Guess who had the 6th dance in the 6th week of the 6th series?

6*6*6 was Heather and Brian's Viennese Waltz

Neither Heather nor her husband have ever used the race card so what's your point??.

When I saw Heather on ITT last night she was soooooo different!!! Relaxed. Although it must be disappointing to be voted off, I am sure it is also a relief to some people. It appeared to be so for Heather.

Heather has never used the race card. She refused to comment on the racism claims in the News of the World and thought that anyone using the race card was doing so for salacious purposes in the Daily Mail last Saturday.

Heather was my favourite contestant this year and it's a shame that the audience didn't seem to want to give her a chance. She was different from all the other contestants - she was intelligent, well spoken, eloquent, erudite, qualities which sadly the majority of the GBP seem to despise - and she didn't have a "storyline" of her own. She wasn't the macho rugby bloke (Austin), the hopeless yet charming oldie (John), the newlywed (Tom just got married, you know), or the gangly posh girl (Jodie), older lady (Cherie), lads mag fave (Rachel), giggly Irish girl (Christine) nor was she partnered with Brendan which always generates interest as people wonder whether there's a chance of a Kaplinksy repeat or whether they actually get on.

The public was always aghast when Jodie or Christine got bad marks, but when Heather got them, they just shrugged and refused to get behind her. I'm sure that a part of Heather is sad to have left, but after so many dance-offs, I can understand if she felt relief.
