Took your time

she is incomparable and JP's not gonna like this but for me she is head and shoulders above every other female her mindset and incredible output is surpassed by none nor will it probably ever be i mean to go from The Dreaming to Hounds of love and even a 12 year gap in which she then releases an album like Aerial is just mind blowing welcome aboard LM next time you watch all them pop pretenders just remember who got the ball rolling

Plus without Kate women in the music industry would still be puppets and pimped out if she hadn't pur her foot done and proven that a women is more than able to write and produce her own material plus interesting fact she pioneered the wireless headset on her tour which others like Madonna would go on to perfect and use

I adore the Kick Inside it is my 3rd fave of her's i find it really romantic and really without restraint as she was still starting out.

Lionheart is good its very similar to Kick a bit more musical theatre and Never for Ever her trangressional album where she wnt more experimental its a little uncohesive but still great and i would say order the dreaming before listening to hounds of love beacuse after never for ever she well went nuts aand brought it together in a more concise way on Hounds hope that helps

Only been a "proper" fan for over a year, but she is truly an amazing woman! My favourite Kate Bush albums alternates depending on my mood but at the minute here's my favourite KB albums in order of preference

1. Hounds of Love
2. The Kick Inside
3. Never For Ever
4. The Dreaming
5. Aerial
6. 50 Words For Snow
7. The Sensual World
8. The Red Shoes
9. Director's Cut
10. Lionheart

Favourite song is Running Up That Hill, I cannot express how amazing that song is!

I can't get into The Dreaming at the moment. I can see why it's her most divided album among fans

Lionheart and Never for ever are amazing. I have also ordered Hounds of Love and The Red Shoes.

It's a bit like Aerial you have to give it time its an important album where her music really changed and she started to be outwardly more experimental but as you say its very divisive its definitely in my top 5 Kate albums.

And i like both but not her strongest work Never For Ever has no real solid base its very transgressional i find but love the wistful summer vibes of Blow away and Delius and does contain three of her strongest singles Breathing is a brilliant track as i s Babooskha and Lionheart is a weak and somewhat rushed follow up to her brilliant debut but its great still.

And The Red Shows is possibly her weakest album not brilliant and Hounds Of Love is the definitive kate album it is brilliant.

Unfortunately Digit Al the singer dared to say it was a Maxwell song i saw red

Aerial, that's not for me either. Same for 50 words for snow. But i admire all her music. Mainly her early though.

I love the Red shoes. I love the production, the lyrics and just the whole concept. I love the film she did with it. Moments of pleasure is just heartbreaking. Rubberband girl is so random but i love it

Hounds of love is amazing. Not my favourite album from her but it's a fantastic album and I can see why it's regarded as her masterpiece. I like the first half of the album the most.4

Oh by the way, This woman's work is at Number 30 on Itunes.

I take it your more a pop fan i've never really rated the red shoes its had it's moments but its for me her weakest by far and Hounds Of Love is usually rated so highly as it totally encapsulates her work the pop of hounds of love and then the concept on the ninth wave it all works perfectly.

And yay i love that song one of her best by far cheek of the girl on BGT saying it was a Maxwell song blasphemy

Actually, im not just a pop fan, i like anything.

I never heard her say it was a maxwell song. Ridiculous. Least Kate is getting a bit of publicity.

Sadly I'm old enough to say I saw Kate's "Lionheart Tour" in The Usher Hall way back in '79. (It was my birthday treat to myself)... such a shame that she decided never to tour again; the songs got better with every new album and, especially around the "Hounds of Love" period, she could probably got away with a minimal tour without all the glitz and glimmer of her only tour.

Come to think on it - I still have my "Kt Bush Fan Club" membership card.......

We need more Kate tbh.

Remaster the Life Tour or something....and a compilation of live performances etc...would be something beautiful.

So true as in actuality her only Compilation thus far was released 26 years ago (that is of course how you class DC its a compilation lol) plus her b-sides relegated to this womans work which also needs a re-release 4 albums later so yes but she is remastering so far we have TRS, HOL, TSW and more will follow as she now has the rights from EMI for her own music and as with DC expect the unexpected

She should release a dvd set of her tour, the christmas special she did and the short film she did with The Red shoes. I would happily buy that

Another GH from her is way over due. Now she has the rights to her last four albums, she can easily put the singles from them onto a Best of album.

She hates the line the cross and the curve though so we will have to see she is very self critical but the others yes a tour DVd maybe the TV specials she did.

And true it has been a while but TBH fans will own the albums already they would want the remasters but i suppose for newbies would be good place to start but it's Kate so who knows
