I do love that about The Pull Of The Bush she has this real visceral magic about her, she is so humbled and doesnt truly know how phenomenal she is bravo our Kate....bravo!

And 50 Words proper relaxed me...span it when i gt back in from work and so glad i did! As much as it is an album about snow....it is so very warming.

Yes people on the main page seem to not understand this there is majesty in her music which she will never know or realise which is why she becomes perplexed humbled and elated she will never ever get how much and how many lives she has touched she is incredible

And i feel the opposite its comforting but in a cold desolate way very akin to its snow themes each song is low and builds like a blizzard before going onto the next song its all swirly and snowy i have loved that about A Sky Of Honey and this there is so much nature to be heard beneath the sheen but i hope she incorporates some of the electro sounds found on DC worked quite well i thought

I've not visited this thread before. I've only started listening to Kate Bush in the last few days. So far I've heard Wuthering Heights (I was always aware of this one anyway), Running Up That Hill, The Man With The Child In His Eyes and Hounds Of Love (Again, I was aware of this one).

She is somebody that I have been meaning to listen to for a while but never got round to until recently.
Any other songs you recommend that I listen to?

This Woman's work is a really lovely heartfelt ballads

I can't really pick out songs for you because to really understand Kate, you need to listen to her albums which is what i found out. The singles she has released throughout her career has been good but for me have never fully represented how truly remarkable she is.

Oh i don't know why i bother in trying to be nice and reccomend people how to like a music if i don't even get a thanks.

It is funny, mimicole getting into The Bush now kinda evokes memories how i really "got into" a lot of my favourite artists.

I literally know nothing about Kate Bush (bar a few songs) and have just impulsively bought 'Director's Cut' CD on Amazon and downloaded 'The Whole Story' (greatest hits thingy).
