Preachin the truth! I mean she is my favourite artist in Britain! EVER! She is a mighty gun and i love that Bush does transcend the music/space continuum to locate and expand new fans as well as maintain the core bunch that have been there since The Kick Inside
Oh yes i mean i was 15 or so discovering her in like 2007 she is just timeless and not pretentious or unaccessible i just lover her

Some artists you understand more with age like Kate before looking at Wuthering Heights or Come As Yo Was like turns back on to MTV

Kate bush was never played at all during my childhood so it was myself who discovered her. I think likely because by the time i was born and started controlling my mother's stereo and the remote control to the music channel, it was after The Red shoes and she took 12 years out.

What album is the artwork from where Kate is dressed in ivy/flowers (if any). It's really beautiful imagery.

I really love that imagery....Hounds Of Love is the definition of an album that is absurd as it is in audio and iconic as it is on the outside.

A beautiful inside and out album! Which is why it is among my faves among my faves tbh

Oh totally I love her use of Tennyson in it I've always loved her film and literary influences and I think on hounds of love more so than any other she implemented it better than any other the whole ninth wave where the woman drowns to me just epitomises Kate as an artist a story in song.

And it is Jp from the single and album sleeve to the music and videos it is near enough perfect.

Most definitely...the Ninth Wave is like audio theatre it is something so very otherworldly....the Hounds Of Love album totally moves me. Like all my most favourite albums do....that real sense of an otherworldly experience if ya get me Hav! I love it.

Yes i love that....another one who really does have fantastic imagery to symbolise the era, the music.

Yes hounds Love works much in the same way as Aerial it balances out both of Kate's strengths the big eccentric pop anthems matched with the experimental outwardly thinking side.

And yes I mean the Lin the cross and the curve a continum of an album in video brilliant.

definitely....i think thats why i love Aerial so much too....one side is experimental but predominantly doesnt follow a direct "theme" whereas disc two is like a massive story!

Exactly which is where other albums fall Never For Ever not a solid enough identity, The Sensual World overly thematic but a little downbeat, 50 words for snow beautiful but overly long, and The Dreaming perfect except it can bash you over the head.
