Just out of interest, do you think she'd actually perform? I think I'd die and come back to life if she did but wasn't a video made for this last month? Realistically I was thinking this would probably be shown instead of a performance. But even if it's just the video that's shown, I'd be over the moon.

A part of me thinks she would perform BUT that's probably me just wishful thinking. I can't get the quote out of my head, when she said she wants to do some gigs eventually before she gets too old.

I'm trying so hard not to get my hopes up though. But a live performance from Kate would make a LOT of people happy. I have learnt as a fan though not to ever expect anything from her because she delivers when she feels right.

Definitely, I 100% agree with this. The only reason I think she wouldn't is because it seems so out of character for her but then again.. Kate's always surprised over the years. So who knows.

That's the thing with Kate. She seems quiet for ages then she will pop up with something. I have always thought/hoped that she would perform again but it would be because she wanted to. It would be in her own time.

She even accepted the South Bank award this year and no one was expecting that. I remember I came home and there was new Kate Bush pictures. I do wish the media would stop saying THE RECLUSIVE KATE BUSH.. she's not even a recluse. She's just not a media whore. I love that you will never ever see her getting shit faced down the pub. Anyway I digress...I haven't totally written the idea of her performing Sunday off and I am trying not to get my hopes up too much but right now so many things are pointing towards her being there. 2011/2012 has been an exciting few years for Kate fans. I hope it is all topped off with a live performance. *wispers* then a bloody tour Kate.

Oh My God!!! It can't be true surely??!!! Just imagine..... I can't believe she'd be live, maybe on a screen. To perform live for the first time in years in front of 80,000 is surely impossible for her. But f*ck me, I hope she does. I'm so excited!!!!!

if she does perform...what a feat, not just in front of an 80,000 audience but in every TV across the nation AND the world...it would be truly something astounding!

I cannot tell you how buzzed i am about spice girls back, george michael being all scrubbed up and the sight of Annie Lennox is truly lovely too! but if Kate Bush were to perform...that would be beyond the limits of epic!

I would imagine it is a dance remix. I remember being in a bar in Blackpool in 1985 and Running Up That Hill was in the gay top ten and you could buy a tape of remixes with it on as well as Pet Shop Boys, Madonna, Hazel Dean, etc. Strictly illegally of course - under the counter stuff.

I honestly hope she will be, if she wants to do those gigs again, now is the time to really generate interest. She won't even have to sing live, as I doubt a lot of the acts will be... I know the Spice Girls apparently re-recorded vocals for their performance a few days ago, so it would hardly be a shock!

And Kate is definitely no stranger to lip synching....

Oh no, my mistake it was still interesting to listen to. However I just checked NZ iTunes and listened to the snippet and it's exactly the same really, just the key has been lowered. New vocal too.
