Congrats to everyone who got tickets, now the wait... tap tap tap

Another thing that has crossed my mind, anyone who isn't going on the first night, are you going to try avoiding forums etc... so that the set list and performances come as a complete surprise? Or do you want to know what to expect? I'm kinda liking the idea of a complete surprise, but not sure I'll be able to resist reading reviews.

Well as I'm the sort of person who can read the last page of a book and found out the genders of my children early on I'm going to guess I will not be able to resist reading the forums

Just with the name of it: Before the Dawn, I'm expecting a few tracks from the second disc of ariel. Sunset & Nocturn, hopefully.

Sensual world/flower of the mountain will also be in there. I know she was keen for permission to use words from James Joyce's Ulysses in the lyrics for sensual world but was refused initially, then granted permission for her directors cut album version, so I'll be surprised if that's not in.

Too many tracks never done live that it's hard to predict what she'll do in the short time of her show.

i will avoid all reviews ..its been a along wait ...a pipe dream perhaps ...so I want it to be a complete surprise! Just like the announcement and the fact that I actually got tickets.

The above will be my intention but I have little hope in being able to avoid seeing any review, I can avoid here (I think) but Kate is everywhere at the moment and I think that will only intensify after the opening night.
Even as I write this it's on sky news that the shows have sold out

Singing away to King of the Mountain. Such a fabulous track, so mystical. Would LOVE to walk up a mountain listening to it.

I think the original KT bush band line up would have been nice but it seems kate thinks differently.
I also notice that Del Palmer has gone conspicuously quiet on Facebook.
He's posted today voicing sympathy for those who didn't get tickets or couldn't "afford" them. It all seems a bit barbed again, well and truly pee'd off it would seem.

Me thinks someone's nose maybe a little off kilter I have to confess to being uber curious to the dynamic between them now

I still can't believe this is happening. We will all be breathing the same air as KATE BUSH!

Me neither. I've been having a massive Kate marathon today, hope I haven't pissed my neighbours off too much!

I really need to make sure I avoid all spoilers relating to the show, but I'm usually rubbish at doing that! But this is a once in a lifetime event ( literally in my case seeing as I was born in 1981) and I want to enjoy it fresh without reviews spoiling it for me

It's sort-of sinking in with me now, although I don't think I'll truly believe I'm going to see Kate until she's there on the stage in front of me as I'm a real worrier and am paranoid the shows or at least the one I'm going to will get cancelled for one reason or another or sheer bad luck.

Del is an amazing musician but I have to say I have never warmed to him otherwise at all.

Ha! It's should be law to have Kate marathons I've been playing King of the Mountain all day. There's something about that track that grabs me.

You and me both! But in this day and age of twitter and internet forums it will be VERY hard not to read spoilers. At most I'd like a setlist but with no info re theatrics/show content. Still on such a high!

I really want to avoid set list spoilers beforehand. I have a dream set list in my head and want to (hopefully) be proved right on the night! She's got so many songs to choose from though that have never been performed live, so I doubt I'll get my dream set list, but I don't care. She could get up on stage and say, "hi, I'm Kate Bush, goodnight" and I'd still be happy!

Lovely!

I honesty think Kate is the most beautiful woman to have ever lived and breathed.

I think she has a grace and beauty that used to be associated with Hollywood of old, she's quite gone with the wind in this

I remember watching the Laurence Olivier version of Wuthering Heights fully expecting Cathy to be similar to Kate and was so disappointed that Merle Oberon seemed so ordinary and unexciting in comparison. Kate is stunning in the Liz Taylor/Vivien Leigh kind of way.

I don't understand...are you saying only men can find Kate so beautiful?

When I was younger I was completely infatuated with Kate and thought she was extraordinarily beautiful and I am a female (and straight). She is still wonderful but I'm a bit too old for girl crushes now.
