I am having fun with this cable in as much as it is HUGE. I have just rewired our system in the house to try and hide all cabling and find that this cable is both very fat and very long. My questions are

1) Is there an alternative available that is thinner and shorter or
2) Is there a way of shortening this cable and re attaching the end plugs which seem unique..well I've never seen any like it before.

I need to get rid of about three quarters of the length of this cable!

Does anywhere that anyone knows of make custom cables to exact lengths?

Thanks

I think the only way I can tell you is by this link. You have to squeeze the top of the plug ends in order to insert it into both the back of the subwoofer and the back of the main box.

Couple of solutions:

1) Drop the excess cable under the floor. Obviously not an option if you have concrete floors.

2) search the parts catalogues of CPC and RS to find replacement plugs.
