The reviews look pretty good though.

This camera is always good for beginners or just for fun photography.
Do you need it for a special reason? Otherwise it's a good camera...

Not bad.

But, if was spending a similar amount of money, and wanted a compact, I'd be looking at the Panasonic TZ3/4/5.

Dabs are selling this HP R937 camera for £99 - It was £202 and a great camera. I bought a few as stocking fillers.

Yup.

Thats the TZ5 I mentioned earlier.

The TZ4 (much the same really) is a fair whack cheaper here though:

This is about twice the price but another fantastic camera from Panasonic. Panasonic are releasing some great point and shoots at the moment. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-DM...6419723&sr=8-1
