I'm going more and more of Cheryl by the second.

It doesn't take a genius to work out that Ruth totally rocked it in the sing of, where as Laura was mediocre.

If I was a judge, I know how I would have went with.

She needs to accept responsabilty herself that she chose the wrong song for her and the piano arrangement did not work. This is why she faced the sing of.

I wonder if "Basher Tweedy" tried to clock him - she likes attacking pensioners doesnt she?.....ah, no, Cheryl is the toilet attendant basher, its RACHEL who beats up OAPs - jeeesh, must get that right in future. SO hard to keep up.

I am a Laura fan but Ruth was brilliant in the sing off!
If she had of been voted of against Daniel, Rachel or Eoghan then she would have
had a point. I think anyone would have struggled against Ruth after that performance.

Cheryl has a lot to learn about accepting defeat with grace.

The moment Ruth's song ended Simon leaned over to Cheryl and said wow. They all knew it was a hard act to follow and Cheryl's face when she introduced Laura said it all really.

Laura's song choice would have beaten quite a few of the contestants in the sing off but not against someone like Ruth. Ruth seems to thrieve on the extra pressure, she seems to think she's not going to do to well and never expected to come this far. Laura obviously thought she'd get much further and would never have to face the sing off.

Either wayit doesn't matter. Ruth blew Laura out of the water IMO and Cheryl should praise Ruth instead of being so bitter about it.

If the act who says is judged on the survival song then Ruth desreved to stay.

But neither act should have been in the bottom two.

Ruth deserved to be saved she was far better in the sing off but i;m not convinced that was why Lousi saved her especially when he has pointed out she has no chance of winning so though he did the right thing imo I don't think he did it for the right reasons

Cheryl is right, it was personal by Walsh, just as it was personal last week by him against Simon when he voted out Austin............both of them sang superbly in the sing off and the little spineless wonder should have let it go to deadlock and see who the public wanted out .

Walsh is a vendictive little man, he started the insults last week with his comments about Diana not dancing, Cheryl gives as good as she gets.........how many times has Walsh blurted out childish comments this year to Cheryl, Simon and Dannii than did his annoying sniggering, head wobbling laugh?

I'd agree with that. It was the right choice because Ruth's performance was far better. But Louis did it to get back at Cheryl for the Westlife comment, at least IMO. He could have said one woman sang her heart out and really convinced me. But he didn't, instead he chose to harp on about fighting spirit which is silly as they all want it badly.

Does Cheryl not understand how the show works?

I'm sure if she was in the same position she'd voted tactically as well!

Something tells me Cheryl will tear into all the acts of the other judges next week, especially JLS and Ruth, simply because JLS is Louis' act and Ruth stayed in while Laura left.

I really don't think Cheryl really gives much of a hoot about Laura or about Louis' decision.

Her lack of willingness to even say anything when the verdict was announced spoke volumes.

I just do not buy her 'too upset to speak' act - she just couldn't be arsed imo and probably knew anything she would say would sound insincere.

All this Louis stuff is just attention seeking.

For once I agree with you.
I loved Laura in the audition, but she was weak in the live shows.
She didn't look comfortable in her styling and the songs never really lifted her.

Ruth was in-credible in her sing-off and nothing could have beaten that!

The trouble is yes Louis could've taken it to deadlock; but Simon also kicked out her out. Had he voted the other way then it would've been a different story as well.

Its a bit weird that they keep ending with Louis; I'd've thought Simon would've wanted the deiciding Deadlock vs Elimination vote

What a stroppy little twit - she implied the same sort of thing (about Louis just voting tactically) on xtra factor, while ruth was sitting right next to her ... she needs to get over her own ego and realise she's probably hurting Ruth's feelings and doing Laura no favours.

Once again the whole 'judges categories' idea is shown to be problematic - whats the point of it again?

oh yes so that some third rate 'music industry experts' can feel important

Even if Laura had been up against Daniel then thicko louis would still have voted her off! I`m convinced of that because he has proved so many times in the past that his voting is always 100% tactical. Anyone who cant see that must be as thick as him! Under the circumstances he should have allowed it to go to deadlock in which case Laura may well have been saved. He voted her off because she was major competition and its about time the contest involved none of this judge vs. judge situation. That way we would get an honest result and stop this show becoming the farce that it obviously has! Laura was the best in the competition simple as that!

I have to admit Cheryl is really getting on my nerves even more so lately

It seems like everyday she is slagging someone else off or throwing a tantrum because one of her acts gets voted out

Cheryl has the right to be mad at Louis. After all she was the judge who voted on talent the last two weeks .

Cheryl has one rule for herself and another for the rest. She voted Scott out over Daniel out of sympathy. She voted Austin out over Rachel because apparently Austin had the chance to shine whereas Rachel didn't .

I am sorry to see Laura going when there are worse acts still in the competition. But Cheryl should only blame herself for it. If she was more respectful to Louis, made the right decisions in previous weeks, and let Laura have more control over her style, Laura would have still been in the competition.

I agree looking back on it Ruth looked guilty that she had stayed in the show. Cheryl should have been more careful not to hurt both Laura and Ruth's feelings.

So you're saying that Ruth is not talented?

Totally agree with you on the judges categories thing, they need to get rid of the mentoring to make it a level playing field, problem is though you get rid of the mentoring and its "Pop Idol" and Simon Fuller would pop up looking for his cut
