Eoghan is topping the votes
Quote:
Meanwhile, my source tells me that scary-haired Eoghan is comfortably topping the votes every week.

Would ask how the world and it's wife knows the votes, but I'm not that surprised, though I did think Diana was edging it.

Would not surprise me at all.
I doubt it's 'comfortably' though. My guess is that it's very close between Eoghan, Diana, JLS. |

.............of that I have no doubt. I think we are going to see a virtual re-run of last year - the only difference being that Eggnog`s debut album will be rushed out for Mother`s Day next year and thereby saving him from having the lowest debut album sales from an X Factor winner

I'm not sure they'd let that happen again to be honest; even if he's Simon's act, I think Simon wants Diana to win and expect Eoghan to go downhill from here - after Leon's failure, Simon wants someone who really can be successful, which is Diana, Alexandra, or even JLS. Eoghan will fail - the 'cute' factor will be gone when he's a bit older, and he's not got a voice to still appeal to people.
Basically, Eoghan is getting multi-votes from his fans, who will only buy one album each... |

The rumored winning song is too big Eoghan as well I think, I think the producers are desperate for a girl to win this year

Seriously, Simon (despite his protests that he wants to win again) will not want Eoghan to win. With Leon's somewhat disappointing sales, Eoghan will probably sell even less and a further blow will be dealt to The X Factor. They can't keep rolling out Leona Lewis as an example every bloody year, if all the others winners are on the fast track to nowhere.

Unsurprising. Like Leon last year he is the perfect demographic to attract votes regardless of talent.
Seemed pretty obvious to me the second he was selected. We've had Leon ..then George Sampson... ..so Eoghan fits the winner photofit perfectly. |

If Eoghan is topping the votes the X Factor should be cancelled before the final.
What happens if his voice breaks between now and his album? |

It's not that surprising, but at this stage the weekly votes are still getting split 8 ways (at least they were last saturday).
Even if Eoghan is getting the most votes now, there's no guarantee that as more people go out and the votes get split between fewer people that he will continue to get the biggest share. |

Seriously? Did we not learn from lame Leon last year? Is the X factor really on only voted for by grannies and 12 year olds? Oh well, even if he wins he won't last.

If Eoghan does win he'll be the first winner who's demise I'll enjoy. Not because I'm some weird sadist , I actually like the guy as a person, but just to send the message to Simon not to keep trotting out the same type of winners every year.
Seriously how did Leona win? |

There are of course many people who probably do think he's the best of the bunch. However, in Eoghan's case, I have a little story. I was heading into Enniskillen this morning and was listening to Radio Ulster in the car. The whole way there, Steven Nolan had a discussion about the X Factor with people phoning up and complaining about Louis slagging his hair. Anyways. Some people said they voted because of Louis' comments, some because they thought it took a lot to get up there and sing, some because he's cute little Eoghan and one of our own...and one person said they voted because he was a good singer. When questioned, they said he probably wouldn't even win, which makes me question their judgement. My point is that Eoghan has got multiple people behind him here for various reasons. Add that to the sympathy "aw Louis slagged his hair" votes from everywhere else and all the votes from girls who fancy him. I'm not surprised he's getting the most votes, if the source is correct. But I'd never choose him over the others. ![]() (No disrespect to anyone who likes him! )

This is just scary. He shouldn't even be in the top 12 nevermind topping the votes...

If The Egg wins, I can seriously see the show not returning. I'm not being dramatic either - that really would be in the final nail in the coffin.

I've had the votes leaked to me again this week (Like the first week)
Eoghan didn't win the first week though suprisingly Laura did. |
