I am begining to wonder, I am not Diana fan but she is the preferred option to Eoghan who is beginning to looki a certainty to win.
The show's credibility took a big knock last year, but with a stronger talent pool this year, we will get an even worse winner. so maybe the show needs to rested to stop wasting record contracts for these no hopers. I would not be amazed if Daniel was in the final as well. |

No, last year the fact the second best act won the final was great for the show as it will get more people to vote and what they want is lots of votes because votes means money.

I agree with what's been said.
I always wonder if these shock evictions are planned to encourage the people to vote in the fear that their act might actually go after all. It happens EVERY year. At the end of the day there were 5, maybe 6 acts who could have won it at the beginning, with Austin and Laura being 2 of them. I now expect it will between the two remaining girls. And, quite obviously, so do the judges. If they go before the final three then yes... I expect it will be the end of X-Factor

ITV don't care about the winner, they just want the advertising revenue. As long as its pulling in 6m+ each Saturday night (which its doing almost double that) then it will stay regardless of the level of talent.

Only a Diana/JLS/Ruth/Alex win would be justified. Anybody else would be completely outm of the question. And before anybody says 'in your opinion', I don't even like Alexandra.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that viewing figures this year are higher than they've ever been
That tells you all you need to know |

Yeah but it didn't win the National TV award this year, voted for by the public, and Simey Wimey isn't a happy camper.
They work for ratings, not for awards. And for the same reason, the shows future doesn't depend on the winner. Although if Eoghan wins, Simon may well kill himself which could be an obstacle to future series. ITV have no interest in the winner, that's just Syco's problem. |

If Daniel or Diana wins I swear I will never watch it again. The performances this year (except for Ruth) have been very lack lustre.

We've had a great talent pool this year, which has sadly been let down by Hedgehog Head, Gobby Ghetto Girl and Dead Wife Dude.

I think Diana or JLS could be successful recording artists.

Diana is unique but I don't think I would want to listen to a whole album of her singing. At least she has her own style and I wouldn't mind if she won the X Factor.
My favourites are Alexandra and JLS. I like that they don't rely on sympathy votes and being pretty. Cheryl Cole seems quite disinterested in Alexandra. |

Alex and JLS are the front runners through their polished performances so far, oh! "in my opinion!"
