Excellent - I always thought Charlotte should have got the job over Basher Tweedy (I loathe that woman) - but it would be ALMOST as good to have both of them on the panel, coz Charlotte wouldnt take any crap from Little Miss Showbiz - bring it on!

Cheryl would be immense, she has talent, and success aswell.

I wanted Charlotte to be a judge instead of Cheryl, she can actually sing and knows what shes talking about unlike Cheryl. That said the pair of them on the panel would be comedy gold

id love to see Charlotte on it! she has far more experinece in the music business than Cheryl - who dont get me wrong i dont mind but in my opinion doesnt exactly have a ton of experience!!! (she points out people being off key etc yet did we all hear her singing on it......ouch!)

Yes I've heard this too. She was apparently asked in Spring 2007 but couldn't commit. Simon said something about admiring the way she 'tells it like it is!'

Then we got Dannii instead. I wished he'd asked Charlotte again before Cheryl. Charlotte would have made the show so good and unlike Cheryl, Charlotte actually knows worldwide success esp in America.

The show seriously needs some light relief - the banter between Sharon and Louis used to be so funny and its definately lacking something this year (even if Sharon could be a spiteful old witch sometimes ). I think Charlotte would fill the gap created by Sharon perfectly. Ditch that dreadful Cole woman and bring in Charlotte!
