I find it quite ridiculous to be frank.
I bet Simon is splitting his sides! |

It was just a joke!
It was the Media minister pointing out how ridiculious it was for MPs to get involved in Ross/Brand. He said... "MPs should resist that temptation to comment on editorial matters. Although the temptation is great in my case, having seen the wonderful and talented Laura White very harshly voted off X Factor on Saturday." It was just a joke to point out how stupid things like this being raised by MPs is. |

So MPs aren't allowed a joke and a giggle? They're not allowed to watch and have opinions on reality TV? Because a report said it was "raised in Parliament" you believe that they discussed it during a session when they should have been talking about tax, the credit crunch and benefits? That's DAFT.
I always see clips of a bit of light-hearted chat in the house of Commons. I don't start thinking "OH MY GOD IT'S THESE PEOPLE WHO ARE RUNNING OUR COUNTRY!!! ARFRGGGH". Because that would be silly, wouldn't it
