Good phone - Software wise not really any different from the K800 or K850.
The only problem I have with the phone is that the headphone socket is now on the side & not underneath as with previous models, so quite regularly the music will cut out while you have to re-insert the jack.
I have been very tempted by this phone but due to being stuck in a contract I cant do anything till july.
however I have looked up the quality of the pictures it takes and I wasn't overly impressed really, http://www.esato.com/phonephotos/ind...son&model=C905 when you see the smaller sized pic before clicking to enlarge the picture looks nice but when u view it fullsize it doesn't look that great in my opinion
Just updated to one of these from a W850i. Not fully road-tested it yet camera-wise but I'm very happy with it. Music Player is much better than W850i as you can now manually adjust the graphic equaliser.
Comes with 2gb card as standard but an 8gb card only costs £25. Has Wi-fi too and Google-Earth GPS. You can get it as a free upgrade at £35 month at Carphone Warehouse. There are Gold and silver versions also.
By far the best 8MP camera phone (especially for indoor/evening shots due to the Xenon flash) music is also good. Wi-fi provides super fast internet. A few downsides are the battery life not as good as it could be and video records fairly low resolution.
The phone is well built, has all the normal cybershot phone features and you can get bigger memory cards.
If you don't want touch screen or a smart phone then this is a must have phone.
i have had K series phones for years updating everytime a new one comes out, as far as im concerned the c905 is the best phone iv ever had. i always thought the k800 was better than the k850 i hated that phone but the c905 is simply spectacular
THIS is a good review against its 8MP peers, although it is heavily weighted towards the camera performance. I have just got an i8510 - I considered the C905 - but the i8510 is a better video recorder - essential with a 10 month old in tow.

Im in the exact same problem grrrrr Dam You O2!!
I May be able to get it as a replacement though as my K850i has been repaired 3 times by the carphone warehouse, and still crashes every 5 minutes
The 8MP with CZ lens and Xenon flash is the dogs nutz , the only downside is the keyboard keys are very flat and not nice in use until you get used to it.
Just DL a trial version of Wayfinder Sat Nav software I'll give a good test in the Am on a trip (VF take it off their version of the software )

I thought about this. Could get one for £15 a month for 18 months. Not bad but I know NOTHING about 3. How is it different from normal networks? What is the internet like on it? Is it just like on my laptop?
Whats the video camera like on this phone cos I always found on previous SE's the camera for still pictures is good but video is always crap. I have a K770i at the moment and it takes great still pivtures but video is always crap quality.

Works fine .....almost .
I have used maploader to pre-load UK maps onto my memory card , but wayfinder insists on an internet connection to get its own maps , ignoring the maps on my memory card .
I am wondering if my mistake is / was putting the apps on the phone's memory and the maps on the M2 MC
Anyone help ?
We have unlimited internet with VF ( but of course thats limited by FUP ) so i prefer not to use the internet to get maps if possible .
