I would like to see Cheryl Cole being replaced
with either Leona Lewis or Will Young. I think either of these would make a better judge than Cheryl.
Now, I have given Cheryl the benefit of the doubt, but I just do not think she is suited to being a judge, because of the way she behaved on Saturday, getting sulky and accusing Simon and Louis of tactical voting. She wasn't even bothered if she had offended Ruth with that comment. Cheryl needs to accept one of her acts could be voted off and she just cannot accept that and acts like a young kid when she cannot get her own way. She is more unprofessional than the others, which isn't good. It is just my opinion, but I do think Cheryl is going to get worse over the following weeks. Cheryl just isn't cut out to be a judge and has been a big disappointment. |

I don't know if it's true,
but according to The Sun (OK, I know) she had to apologise to Westlife for what she said. So I'd like her to apologise to Ruth. |

Disgraced cook Rusty Lee would make a great judge.

Charlotte Church would be a fantastic judge! I don't like Cheryl as a judge, she really does bring nothing to the competition! I'm sure she's very passionate and committed to her acts, but she comes across as wooden and uninteresting on the live shows.
Infact I think this is the only one of 'simons shows' that there really is no chemistry between the judges. |

Lilly Allen. Crap as a judge I expect but like Charlotte Church it would really piss off Cheryl Tweedy (wont call her cole as her marriage is a sham)

Yeah Charlotte for Judge!! Love her or hate her she would tell it like it is!!
Bottom line is Laura was in the bottom 2 because the public decided they did not like her and its a bit childish f Cheryl to load it on Simon or Louis!! |

As for Cheryl's behaviour, it was inconsiderate to Ruth to accuse Simon and Louis of tactical voting, but she's probably right. Particularly when it comes to Louis. Still, she showed more restraint than Madam Osbourne's outburst when Louis voted off Maria over The Conway Sisters. (and Sharon was right about that one, too!) EDIT: oh, but I think the best reaction on the show was actually from Laura. I actualy like the girl and think she has a fantastic voice, but no-one looked more shocked than she did when she ended up in the bottom two. She so clearly expected her name was going to be the last one called out and her face was a picture when it wasn't. |

I couldn't believe the way she behaved on saturday - she knows that someone has to go eventually and she was stupid to think all her girls would make the final without being in the bottom 2 - the only worry for her now is will her behaviour go against her and make the public not vote for her acts??
Charlotte church would be brilliant she has alot of experience in the industry and does not behave like a baby when she doesn't get her own way - plus it would be brilliant to see cheryls face if she was replaced by her. |

Can't believe that's true. She didn't actually say anything offensive against Westlife, only that Louis shouldn't turn JLS into a Westlife clone. Which, let's be fair, is true. No-one needs another Westlife when we've already got one!

She shouldn't have said that in front of Ruth who derserved her win that night. |

Oh, I agree, it was insensitive. She was right (at least in Louis case, anyway), but it wasn't Ruth's fault and she didn't need that rubbed in her face.
And why didn't she blame Simon? He was the first to pick Ruth. |

Of course the actual voting is decided by Simon and the producers in the ad break, but the first few years were awash with the story of Sharon/Louis pact to vote off Simon's acts. And then the resulting storming around when their acts were voted off. You would almost think they were just playing up the whole thing for entertainment... Laura was the shock elimination of the series. Hence they need the judges to make a big hoo-ha about it. |

As cheryl said herself - she has voted for the people she feels sorry for - so why cant the public do it now??? Because she is on the show the public HAVE to vote for her acts - i felt extremly sorry for ruth - she was the best in the sing off which is what they have to base there opinions on, laura could have been the best singer all competition but if she doesn't pull it off in the sing off then she will be out - cheryl needs to grow up and quickly otherwise she will find her remaing acts disappearing very quickly because it seems the public are already fed up of her!!!

I very much doubt that she had to apologise to Westlife! Who on earth would have made her do that?! Simon (whose label Westlife are signed to) never seems to get as upset as Louis when Sharon or someone else takes the pi*s out of Louis Westlife obession.

If Cheryl was to be replaced, I'd like to see her replaced with Boy George. He'd say exactly what he thought, he has a great personality, loads of years experience in the music industry and he knows a thing or three about singing too. He'd be perfect.

And why didn't she blame Simon? He was the first to pick Ruth. Louis really wasn't impressed with Ruth earlier in the evening, which makes it harder for me to believe he truly thought she was better. Simon, on the other hand, I don't think would do this. I honestly doubt he really wants Eoghan to win, so I don't think he'd vote off acts to give his own act a better chance. In the end, Simon wins by getting the best act signed to his label, so tactical voting doesn't suit him. Now I could believe Simon voted Laura off just so he could stare at Ruth's boobies for another week
