Next years tour, surprise addition?

A thought occured to me whilst reading about the SCD tour for 2008. Since John has proved to be so immensely popular and entertaining with the public, will he be invited to join the other dancers to be a member of the tour next year. He's been such a hit so far I could see the theatres being packed by Sergeantistas eager to watch their hero in action.

I wondered about that, especially with Kristina confirming that she will be doing it... but there are already two bad dancers doing it, how many more do we need?

Also would be nice if John didn't do it, because then we could watch Kristina dancing with someone with a bit of talent!

My mind boggled when I read the thread title. I had horror visions of Gordon Brown coming on, wanting to get the same popularity that SCD had given John.

I think Christina will get Camilla's 'reject'. I.e Gethin or Tom.

That would make sense, I think she'll be the next tallest female after Camilla, unless Hayley is also signed up. And I really do think John, Kenny and Julian all in one show would be a bit too much bad dancing in one night!

If John signs up I would have to seriously consider getting rid of my tickets. I really can't stand him anymore.

I found it a bit odd that Cherie and Tom have already been signed up. It's as if the producers know that they're going to get far in the competition!

Surely it's the other way around ravensborough, at least for Ms Lunghi. Explains why Cherie is getting marked as high as she is.

Agree with you there, but hope John isn't on it. He was amusing at first when there were other people who couldn't dance, but I just want him to go now as he is not entertaining any more.

John wouldn't really be a 'surprise' addition.

Kaplinksy. That would be a surprise addition.

Nothing would surprise me!

I really don't think that John would be phyically fit enough to do two dancers per show twice a day for 40 dates tbh.
After watching the tour DVD last night I just can't imagine him running to the middle of the dance floor ...... dance and then run back towards Kate and the judges.
I think you need quite a lot of stamina to do the tour whether you're dancing or just walking around the dancefloor

It was known pretty early on last year that Matt and Letitia were part of the tour. My prediction is that Cherie will get to the last five or six and Tom will make the final.

Seeing that we already have both Julian and Kenny signed up I think there is already enough of a balance between 'entertainment' and 'dancing'.

I suddenly have visions of me at every date ... front row tickets ... complete bankruptcy for life but I would not care one bit.

*leaves thread quietly*
