Diana to sing Leona Lewis this week
Posted this in another thread but I think it's should have it's own thread.
Suggestion: Considering she's fully capable now to sing and she's not the slightest worried that her massive fanbase will put her in the bottom 2. Then I'm sure she's up for the challenge to sing a Leona Lewis song since it's best of British That way everyone will be happy

Leona's very good but surely a little too recent to be "best of British"? Anyway Simon will probably just compare Diana to Leona then (or not..)

Given that no one apart from Leona will be singing one of her songs this week, what is this thread about? Is it because she didn't sing a "Mariah" song so you think she should be forced to do a "Diva" song?
Almost every song can be arranged in some way to suit a contestant's voice - we've seen that with Diana the first four weeks. It won't matter what she is asked to sing, they'll have found an arrangement more suited to her so she isn't taken out of her comfort zone. |

So it isn't even confirmed that Diana is doing a Leona Lewis song?

But the discussion is about her not being up for the challenge, that she chickened out to sing a Mariah song.
So if she sings a Leona song who's vocally equally good (if not better in my own opionion) which ever she likes, then I think many would drop that factor. |

She didn't "chicken out" of singing a Mariah song.
I'm not even a big fan of Diana but its perfectly obvious she didn't. |

I wish she had just been wheeled on stage in a wheelchair and whispered her way through her bleeding song. The public would have voted for her in their thousands as they would have felt sorry for her and we still would have had Laura going home. Then none of these discussions would have taken place and the forums would be sane again. |

But many seems to think she did and this is a chance for her to show that they are wrong.

for gods sake she didn't chicken out, SHE WAS ILL!!!! AAAarrrhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

Then none of these discussions would have taken place and the forums would be sane again. I said it's being discussed, which is true. I can't say she's lying because I wasn't there but it does seem odd that she was looking perfectly healthy with tons of make up, plus screaming @ the bonfire and then to hear she was too ill and now she's feleing fine again. This way, I tihnk everyone would be content aobut this whole situation. |
