Just love her. She reminds me of an early Kate Bush. She's sweet and unassuming and to me has a really likeable style and voice.

Think the bottom line is, just decide who you look forward to seeing each week. It's Diana for me.

I like her voice and she is a different type of X Factor contestant. She is not my favourite (Ruth is), but she is a firm second.

But i don't think the public realise they are messing with peoples dreams with this show. They come out there and work there butts off and then an annoying 17 year old blonde comes out, sings imo pathetically and with those annoying hickup sounds, and she desreves to win. What a silly question OP. You either like someones voice or you dont. You cant explain why, you just DO. I dont know why I like cheese and jam on toast. I just DO. I like the sound of her voice. She's got a contemporary style and people who are contemporary don't usually get far on the show. It makes the show different.

Who are you supporting and reasons please - and I want a proper evaluation - not just that they've got stage presence and ability to sing because they all have (to varying degrees) - what makes that particular act stand out?

Who ever "deserves" to win? It's about who is the most popular with the GBP and if they differ with your opinion then so be it. that's the point of this show - I wasn't at all happy about Leon winning last year but thems the breaks.

Yeh that's right, after all Diana doesn't have dreams does she, and the british public shouldn't vote for the one they like the best, they should vote for the one who works their butt off and who has a dream of winning.

You could start similar threads for every person in the competition, for example I think Eoghan has a very weak voice and can't see the appeal, but unlike the OP I realise that one man's meat is another man's poison, and I don't see the need for everyone to have to justify their opinions.

One final thing, the person who deserves to win is the person who gets the most votes in the final, and good luck to them, whoever they may be.

Norah Jones is my favourite female artist and her voice is pretty similar to hers. Plus she's quite contemporary and doesn't send me to sleep unlike a lot of the others.

Personally I think she's got a very expressive, soulful voice that allows her to get across the emotion of a song in a way no other x factor contestant is really able to.

Of course, no answer will be good enough for the OP and others who don't agree, so it's not really worth bothering trying to explain.

A lot of contemporary artists who have made it hate this kind of show, they are the ones who worked hard to get where they are. Becuase they believe in the music and want it to be how they see it should be and not how some manufactured pop show wants it to be. That why you dont get them on this show.
