True. The only forum I recall him being very popular on was this place. He wasn't on facebook ect. Leon gained fans week on week on a larger scale.

So you have another 98% of viewers. Who for all you know could dislike Diana and love Eggnog.”

The question you're raising here is, are X factor fans who use Facebook likely to be a representative sample of the total viewing population of the TV show?

And I could quite easily see that it might not be the case that they would be. It would, perhaps, be more valid to say that Facebook users would be more representative of, say, the under age 30 or so sector of the viewing population.

End of the day, no real way to find out until we see the voting patterns over coming weeks.

You heard OK

Bebo myspace kids site still only a small % of the 12million of the GBP who watch X factor.

You can keep going on about myspace etc but they mean nothing when it comes to working out where majority of who watch the show vote.

Wrong. NEVER underestimate facebook. If there is a campaign running on there then it usually has success.

But that will only work if the mums let the kids use the phones or give them money for credit.

Dont forget the adults have more money that the kids to vote.

I actually think Diana is popular with the older audience in the main - maybe it's that folksy thing - makes them think of the 60s...(not meaning to sound condescending btw!)
