I really liked his performance on Saturday.
he seems to be the whipping boy on here and its getting a bit tedious.
hes a young lad not the devil incarnate and id much prefer to see him win before Daniel or Rachel.

I liked it too. I thought he'd get floored by a Mariah song but he did well.

Even the people who dislike him think that though. It's the fact that he'll beat those more talented on him (Alex,Ruth,JLS,Diana) purely because of the whims of those with an ineffcient hormone system that is annoying people.

I don't think he'll win. He's just not good enough.

I reckon he'll win and I also reckon he won't get Xmas number one but Peter Kay will.

Infact who ever wins will not be Xmas number 1 this year. I'm quite certain of it.

I can see Eoghan winning this, unfortunately.

He isn't even that bad, but he's just boring. IMO, he doesn't have that 'something'. I find him bland.

I'm positive that he's securing the teeny vote too...not only does he have the NI vote...but mums will adore him. That VT they ran on him on Saturday....i reckon a flood of votes came his way

If eggnog wins, will be the first xf single NOT to make it to number 1

Oh if only they still had text voting...only about 5% would correctly text his name and he would be out.

If Eoghan wins, I'll stop watching the X Factor - it would be a travesty

I hope he does not win - not because I dislike him, he seems to be a genuinely nice lad, but the treatment he would receive for winning would be horrendous. On this site alone the level of dislike is frankly abhorrent at times - in the real world it would be even worse.

It would be better for him to make the top 4, go on the tour, go home and practice and have a real go at a career in a couple of years once his voice matures. Then, he might have a chance at success.
