Humping!!!!

OMG

I've heard of bitches humping before, but have never witnessed it in quite so dramatic a fashion as the display Buffy has just treated me too

She properly mounted Hansel, front legs hooked round like a dog, giving it the proper action!! He threw her off, she bit his neck and got straight back on. As it is usually the other way round*, it took me a minute to work out what was wrong with the picture!!

She is no where due a season - in fact she is being spayed on Friday.

What a little tart

To be fair, Hansel didn't seem to mind and it has to be said he deserves it.

*Han only 'dry humps', never ..erm...'makes contact' - poor Buff is never 'violated' and quite able to get him off her. When she was in season they were kept 5 miles apart. In case anyone was wondering.

Its a dominance thing.
Buffy is trying to dominate Hansel and assert her authority over him.

That's the theory - I think she is just trying to get her own back

My 10 yr old crossbreed bitch is a compulsive humper. I have 2 smaller dogs that she tries her luck with once in a while, failing that she'll hump a toy. I'm told this is more common in spayed bitches, and mine has been doing it a lot more since she's been on medication for hypothyroidism.

One of my two house bunnies is blind, and even though theyve both been done, he still tries to hump her. Due to his blindness though he sometimes humps the wrong end.
Who'd have thought it hey?

You mean it'll get worse

Actually, that makes sense. It is three months since her second season, so her hormones are all back to normal and this is the first time she has humped. Being spayed will keep the girl hormones low.

Lol. Poor Hansel

Which is apparently why, as amusing as it sometimes appears, you shouldn't let your dog hump your leg - especially if it's a large dominant/aggressive animal.
