Does anyone know when Morrissey and George Michael, two of the best singers in music these days, are releasing new singles?

For a moment I thought you were telling us that Morrissey and George Michael were collaborating on a new single...

I wish!

What a great contrast of styles that would be!

But I can't see it happening - not unless Morrissey's opinion of George has improved since the Wham! days!

It made me smile! I am a huge Morrissey fan, but I have to admit george doesn't do much for me( I think I can only associate him with Wham) - mind you, my mind is working overtime now trying to work out what sort of duet they would perform. It's such an incongruous musical pairing that perhaps the end result would be inspired....

Yes, what a musical kick in the knackers that would be.

I'm 20 and I have to admit I hadn't heard of the Smiths until Christmas last year, when BBC2 showed "I Love 1984" and they had a feature on the Smiths. I loved (and recognized) the music they played and it became a priority to get their "Very Best Of" album (which quickly became one of my favourite CDs, not a single bad song on it).

I'm not that familiar with Morrissey's solo work, but the charts would benefit greatly from new music by Moz and George Michael (both have stood the test of time in my opinion).
