Yes, she was in the bottom 2 with Letitia.

If you remember it was the week that Matt had his melt down so the vote was skewed that week. Pretty sure under normal circumstances it would have been Matt v Letitia that week, and as Matt had not learnt his dances Letitia should have gone through and then a different story, but hey ho.

I think John would have gone this week, if not for the fuss, but thanks to that probably won't - unless he says something stupid on the night. I think he's one more 'shock' from going, but I don't think he's definitely safe. We know Christine's got masses of votes, because she's survived 'middle of the board' week after week. I think (hope) Rachel will get votes after last week and I think the judges will mark her very high if they possibly can. I'm sure Jodie and Ian will do a lovely quickstep and get votes if not marks (tbh, if they can't do a lovely quickstep, I think their time is running out, much as I love them, it should be 'their dance'). I think Tom is much more popular than he is on here and he'll be safe, particularly because I can't imagine him ever doing a dance that would get than less 8s. Austin should be good in either dance and safe, though since I thought his rumba was lovely, I may be biased.

Safe: Christine, Tom, Rachel, probably Austin, funny John.
Unsafe: embarrassing John, Austin (if he's mid table), Cherie, Jodie.
Unknown: Lisa.

If it was Lisa and Cherie, who would the judges save?

I think it would depend on how each one had done their particular latin dance I think it might be a split vote.

I think they'd save Lisa...she's consistently improved whereas Cherie has only shone in ballroom.

But she hasnt done a fast latin since week 1 so she is an unknown quantity this week. Cheries Salsa wasnt good but she went wrong and the routine was too fast, Anton and Flavia said so on ITT and put it down the James inexperience, he has never done salsa on the show before.

Lisa did Salsa week 1 and it wasnt brillient but it was week 1 since then she has done no fast latin so she really has to pull it off this week or she will be vulnerable.

I think having Brendan (& his high expectations) have pulled Lisa on more than she may have done with a different partner. If she can stay at a decent standard for this dance then I think her overall improvement would give her the edge over Cherie..

On another note, worst score for an American smooth (according to wiki and over any series it looks like) is Andrew Castle - 17....can John beat that?

Probably unlikely but it really doesnt matter he is going to be at the bottom of the board whatever he does. However his AS is apparantly based on the waltz which they did week 1 and wasnt too bad so who knows.

It explains all of last week's vote outcome including that - if John and Jodie were at least 4th and 5th - one at least of the top 4 was getting less votes.

I was thinking it didn't explain Christine or Jodie being in the bottom two early on but there are clear reasons why they might pick up more support by now.
