Two unknown WAGS and a policeman? Since when did THAT constitute being a celebrity?

Gosh this show's line-up gets worse every year, when you think of the hundreds of celebrities past and present who would probably jump at the chance of this show yet they still end up with complete unknowns in the final 10?!

It's getting more like Big Brother than anything now.

I remember when I saw David Gest was in one year and thought the same and look how good he turned out to be!!

I'm guessing the budget for the celebs has been cut!

In terms of fame/infamy, this year is actually quite good. Esther and Kilroy are household names and Martina is a global star.

For younger viewers, Simon and Joe are instntly recongisable.

Never heard of that other WAG though, I must admit.

Brian's more than just a policeman.

5 or 6 are quite well known names; the others aren't even really celebs - so it balances itself out into Z-List mediocrity

To be fair though he WAS a celebrity, plenty knew him. I've yet to speak to anybody who knows the three imposters in this line-up!

Maybe the Brits aren't great but Martina & George are top drawer.

Even Big Brother gets a better line up of celebrities than I'm A Celeb. In fact it always has, Barrymore, Pete Burns, Galloway, Dirk Benedict, Jermaine Jackson, Les Dennis, Jack Dee...

They at least have about half recognisable names in the cast.

I'm A Celeb has always been weak, sometimes they get lucky and these nobodies can turn out to be entertaining.

May be on CBB, she's a massive Big Brother fan (she loves the US version) and she was on BBLB when she was last in the UK. So we could see her on our TV screens in January.

I'm A Celeb is a helluva lot harder to sell. There's not a risk of being asked to eat bugs in the diary room, is there? Although there is the possibility of being accused of racism which might put one or two off.

Sorry I didn't mean Celebrity Big Brother, I meant the standard Big Brother - that's how unknown the two WAGS and the copper are to me!

this is the sh1tist line up ever

all it takes though is for one or 2 to be bonkers then its makes the show

i.e david guest, johnny rotten, janet street porter etc

this year is the least names i have heard of

guess itv r relying on people wanting to watch unknowns munching of kangeroos b0ll0cks and crocodile d1cks

There are only 10 and not the normal 12.

There is also a gap in the show on Wed 19th when the England, Germany football match is being shown. A two hour show on ITV 1 is being shown on Thursday 20th, so I am wondering is this the occasion when they will introduce one or two new faces.

Round here any sighting of a policeman would make him a celebrity. My local invisible policeman talks in emails of making it "out there".

Isn't this rather an old line up (wags excluded) ? Its as if they looked at the pretty male winners, Carol thatcher and last year with the panto dame and decided plot wasn't needed all they needed was anyone over 50 and a pretty boyband bloke.

Agree its dreadful but even when they had someone with dramatic potential like katie Hopkins they didn't know how to use her.

When I saw the line up I was amazed at the quality of some of the people in that line up, it is only the wags and topless models I hadn't heard of. Also people always forget that once they have been in a few days and the facades start to drop, it doesn't matter if you had heard of them before or not as you start loving/hating them as individuals rather than for what they did before.

My favourite memories of any I'm a Celeb ever are of Paul Burrell even though when I originally heard he was going in thought I would never be able to watch the programme at all as he was so odious. So I am keeping an open mind.
