Lets Draw A Line Under Saturday
OK, so Laura was, in my opinion, a fantastic singer, who should have had a chance at the final. Louis might have been voting tactically. Maybe Rachel or Daniel should have been in the sing off. Maybe Diana shouldn't have been allowed a week off. Maybe the voting lines had problems.
Whatever. Lets just draw a line under it. The show was on Saturday, and it's not Tuesday, and people are still making 20/30/40 thread about what happened on Saturday. It's getting boring. So I propose this is the last thread. It's getting tedious coming to look on the DS thread and just seeing people creating such a fuss. What's done is done, and whether or not it's right, we can't and shouldn't be allowed to change it. Lets accept it with the good grace that Laura herself has. Please stop with the annoying threads!!! |

I agree to the point of hopefully not creating any more threads but I see no reason why people shouldn't get their catharsis in the threads that currently exist.

So very sensible but I doubt it will stop yet another 20 "Laura was robbed-esque" threads by the morning. Getting verrry tedious now.
Lets start looking forward to next Saturday's show!! |

How can you come on here and tell people to stop doing threads on Laura but you are doing it yourself

Just stop creating multiple identical threads. Fair enough they wanna let of steam, but it's so dull and moronic to come on to DS and see the first 3 X Factor pages filled with the same drab!

I haven't 'told' anyone anything, just merely suggested it.

People will continue to talk about Laura throughout the competition. It just has to be dealt with by the FMs that dislike her - just keep out of the threads if it bothers you!

I keep out the threads - I just resent having to skip 3 pages full of the same crap. It's b-o-r-i-n-g! And I wonder what kind of person makes the same theads?! They clearly don't read other threads. That's what bugs me! I'm not saying stop talking about it, more just quit making identical threads! And also, get over it, look to the next week!

I do agree with the multiple thread thing - but who are other FMs to tell people to "Get over it". Many are "over" it [come on it's the X Factor not some dreadful crime or tragedy] but still like to discuss topics from previous weeks. It's not illegal

It's very unfortunate to lose Laura as she's got a fantastic voice. However, obviously for whatever reason (which I can't understand at all), people didn't vote for her enough to stop her from being in the bottom 2.
As for Louis voting out Laura even though he called Ruth a bar singer (someone correct me if I'm wrong but surely that means using his logic which I didn't agree with he should have kept Laura in the competition) may have been tactical but according to the rules of the X Factor, he hasn't done anything wrong even if it is very unfortunate for Laura fans. Neither deserved to be in the bottom 2 and though I'm a Ruth supporter, it's sad to lose a talent like Laura. Laura will probably get a record deal anyway so I'm sure that her despair will turn to joy soon. Lets draw a line under it all and enjoy the rest of the competition. |

Oh I really hope people can as quickly as possible. I'm really getting tired of reading this.
Now I didn't mind Laura on Saturday. In fact, I wouldn't have minded if she had won but since then - oh man!!! Please - Saturday can't come quickly enough. Her interviews have done her no favours at all. Neither has parliament! |

Lol, some people would think this thread is reverse psychology. Anyway, I think Laura fans need to let it go. She wasn't good enough. The only time I liked her voice was on the 'Heroes' recording (where everyone sounded good, in fairness.) and at the start of SOTR before she started screeching like Margaret Hamilton.
At this stage, people are likely to go into the category of disliking her because of her fans moaning too much. Just saying! |

Yay! All is wonderful and a level playing field again.
Let's bring back Sharon Osbourne, I miss her! |
