Do T-Mobile REALLY have a 12 month exclusive on Android?
Again, while I'm far from impressed by the G1 - I really think Android has a lot of potential (mind you, that whole 'reboot' thing was funny).
Yesterday it was announced that Huawei (better known for making 3G USB Modems) would start to build 'White Label' handsets, running Android, for Networks to take on and Brand as their own. I can only find one source (and it's aimed at the UK) that says there is a 12 month freeze on anyone else offering Android - but that's not very Open Source now, is it? |

Its an open platform HTC just use it for the G1 phone, the G1 itself may be exclusive to T-Mobile but other phones will come out with the same OS.
