BIG Brother virgin Cameron Stout is secretly dating the winner of the African version of the hit TV show.

His friendship with Cherise Makubale, 24, is said to have blossomed since he met her during his four-day housemate exchange to South Africa at the end of June.

The 32-year-old Orkney fish trader - who won Big Brother 3 - later returned and announced Cherise as the programme winner.

Friends of the shy Scot insist he is "smitten" with Cherise from Zambia.

One said: "They have been on a few dates but are both pretty busy.

"It is quite funny because when he was on the African Big Brother he was linked with Abby, one of the other contestants. But Cherise is more his type as she is a clean-living, mother figure."

They are planning to rekindle their relationship when Cherise visits London next month.

Last night Cameron's agent John Noel insisted they are just "friends".

I suspect the Mirror has just picked up on Cam's Sunday post comments about seeing Cherise next month and getting on very well with her and decided to embellish things and make a story out of it but I suppose time will tell !

Personally, if Cam and Cherise were to get together I'd be happy for them. I think they'd make a lovely couple.

Oh right. In that case the enthusiasm for a relationship may just be a 1-way thing Im sure Cam and Cherise will meet up. I think the girls on BBA were much more relaxed and easygoing than on BB4 and Cam enjoyed that, but maybe its just the holiday romance effect.

At the end of the day all Cam did was win a game show, which a certain body of BB fans didn't think he deserved to do. It doesn't render him some vile loathsome creature who's got to pay for it the rest of his days.(not i.m.o. anyway )
