I have a Sony Ericsson K800i with O2 as the service provider. After I exit a phone call, O2 keeps on insisting on displaying an annoying message - something about another few minutes use and I get some sort of price reduction.

I don't want this! When I have ended a phone call I want my phone to go back to the main screen - I don't want to have to first close down some unwanted, extremely irritating message from O2. Is there any way to stop O2 displaying these messages?

I'm on O2 (Contract) and using a K800i and don't get that message. Have you tried ringing customer services about it?

You should only get that message if you are on PAYG and you have made less than three minutes of calls in a day. After that you would get a balance message instead. If you don't want this then just call or email O2. If you email, they will text you when they've done it.

You have to ring O2 and ask them to stop. I think what you are referring to is the same as them giving you your balance after every call and text on PAYG. Just call 100 from your O2 mobile and follow the instructions.

Thanks, that describes my situation exactly - I'm on on PAYG and I rarely get beyond 3 minutes per day. I'll give them a call.
