The only thing I regret is when they are ill. I havent got kids but its the only thing i can liken it to, if your childs ill, you plead to god that they get better. The same with my mogs. I love them both dearly, too much infact. My eldest is off to the vets in 2 hours and i always fear the worst. Just came off the phone crying to my boss in worry (asking for the afternoon off also)!!! But thats how much i care for them. I worry so much about them and they are my first thing i think about
They eat before I do. If I'm skint, I make dsure they have some thing and I'd go with out - thats pure love

Oh good, I feel better now as I work f/t so my mog is on her own all day. Can't let her out until she's been spayed either. But she seems happy enough, and she gets loads of attention in the evenings too.
Cat's tend to be quite solitary, but when they are younger they do need all that bit more attention.

That said I know my little one sleeps all day and is naughty all evening (and all night ) when she has her "audience"

I do occasionally feel guilty, but I know she is fine!!!

I have slight regrets over my seven-year-old cat Mira. She is very bitey lately, has nipped my mother and a friend. She sometimes decides to wee in a handbag, which drives me crazy!

i have no regrets, but sometimes i catch myself thinking i may have taken leave of my senses, having 2 kids (3 if you include himself! texted me at work last night to ask how to cook a jar of pasta bake ... THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE ON THE JAR!!!!!) then getting a puppy. christmas was not on our mind when we got him, its just the right time for us to take in a dog. but then i see the kids with him, or he lies on my feet when im doing the dishes, and he reminds me what a sweet little (well, compared to what he will be!) thing he is

no regrets for my dogs. love them both, even in the 12 year old one smells & hated me as a pup, and the 2 year old one is a nutter that jumps on ou in& at the most inconvenient places

guinea pigs... slight regret at keeping so many, they don't really get as much attention from me as somone who just had a pair would maybe give them

rabbits, i regret wholeheartedly. my boyfriend had left me at easter, i was really really depressed and for something to do, went with my mother and her bloke to a small animal auction
i absolutely fell in love with a little black netherland dwarf rabbit.
"she" was later christned Pringle, unfortunately it wasn't a very clean break up & i was still kind of talking to my ex and he came up with pringle. it really suited the little bun though so it stuck.
he was lovely. great temperament, personality, mad as a hatter when out with the guineas.

a few weeks later i was given a little grey bunny as well. he wasn't as nice as pringle, but i thought maybe he'd improve with time. a week later, pringle had the snuffles, having to leave for college i couldn't do anything that day for him & my mother wasn't around to take him to the vet. i came home to a snuffly bunny and went to sleep with a snuffly bunny, my mother the next day promising to book him into the vet
the next morning i didn;t have time to see him before i left, but when i got home he was struggling to breathe: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=8RPbebdGWms
emergency appointment at the vets. jab, antibiotics, liquid food, but it was no good, the next morning i knew what had happened before i went outside. absolutely pouring down with rain.
opened the hutch to find him laid there, still warm, in his hay

found an old shoe box & made him a bed, laid him in & left him on the dining table while i got home from college.

only 16 weeks old
lifted a slab in the guinea corral, buried him under it. carved his name into the stone.

i've got 3 rabbits now, we got a white one to keep the grey one company after pringle went.
then a few weeks ago i came home to be given another little black bunny, like pringle but with gorgeous blue eyes and white behind the ear instead of brown, him i don't regret at all. i just regret that the other two will always just be connected to what happened with pringle.

the grey one also had a load of abscesses appear on it's side, not long after we got the white one, which all burst on their own so... yeah, that was nice :-/

we have 4 cats (2 toms and 2 females) we would not be with out them. They great us when we come home give us unconditional love - great enjoyment - the house would seem empty with out our bundles of fluff running about

When we moved house - they even influenced our new home location lol
