Can I get 3m optical leads?

Is it possible to get Toslink leads around 3m in lenght? Most places only seem to do 1.2m ones but this isn't long enough to go from my Netgem i-Player to my amp.

I got a 5m one from Keene electronics to connect my PS2 to the amp which is some distance away. It works fine. There's a limit in length before you need a booster but 3m should be fine.

Here's a link:

Do a search for toslink.

RedEarth,

Have a look Maplins, you can get a 5 metre cable from them for £15. I'm using one to hook up the digital output on my PC to an input on my AV amp.

There are branches in Southampton, Bournemouth and Portsmouth near you. The item codes for these are:

VH70M 2 Metre @ £12.99
VH71N 5 Metre @ £14.99

If you look on the website, select Sound and Vision, Audio/Video Cables and accessories, then optical.

Hope this helps,
Tony

Thanks guys. Maplins are opening a new store in Southampton tomorrow so I might pop in and see if they have any.
