Sony Bravia wireless lcd models
If I am out of sync as usual, sorry, I was looking at the new sony products, the 40 inch wireless LCD bravia took my
eye, its the thin picture frame model, it acts in various guises, stills/own movies/tv etc etc. Any of you experts got any comments, I am neutral as regards make or system be it LCD or whatever. The cost without discounts is set at £2300, so its not in the world of unreal. Ill attach the model no later, when I get into the sony site again, which gave me a certificate of being a clean viewer of their site, whatever that means. 40" Wireless Full HD LCD TV KDL-40EX1B is one of them. Didn't know Sony were doing one?, Sharp have been promising one for a long time, and I've not seen that yet either.
Basically they are 'media box' TV's, previously these used a cable between the display and media box - the new wireless ones use a wireless radio link instead. Presumably you're wanting to mount this on a wall?, is the large extra cost worthwhile just to save running wires - bearing in mind you've got to supply mains for it anyway. |

No I am just interested at the moment,I too was surprised to see it on the Sony Web, I was looking at Lap Tops for the wife when this came up on whats new at Sony.
I was just wondering, would the set pick up interference as opposed to a wired varient. The price tag is too much for what I would want to pay anyway, well at the moment that is, on another point nothing to do with TV, last Saturday I visited Darley Dale wife went to a meeting at the carriage driving centre opposite MFI , I was amazed at the numbers of speed cameras they were everywhere, far worse than North Wales which is supposed to be the capitol of speed cameras and every road was signed 50mph from leaving Cheshire. Thanks for the info CP |

But even worse through Darley Dale they have dropped the speed limit from 40 to 30 in two places, and erased the 40 signs off the tarmac, and NOT replaced them with 30. There are normal upright signs but they aren't very obvious

yes it was DFS now you mention it, how cruel of me to compare them, lapse of memory.
And yes I did notice one camera pointing up to the Sky just past a sign "traffic speed survelance by helecopter" now that makes you think, lovely county. CP |
