I feel that if Rachel fails once more to show what she did in the early stages of this competition as well as with Feeling Good...

She will have no chance in this competition at the weekend

She already will 99.99% not win the competition as she doesn't have the fans to back her up.

But to get further in the competition she needs to be amazing from now on... and can settle for no less....

But is that possible? What does she need to do? Is it too late?

I agree with just about everything you just said 3335 black.

She would have to be amazing every week from now on, but even then i fear it would not be enough. But then again you never know.

YOu know what I always thought Rachel had huge potential, but I lost faith when she did no more Drama! I thought she was gonna be amazing with that, but it was bad! ANd that was her survival song! She's got a big voice, but she has no control over it! I think she needs vocal lessons to be honest. I am pretty sure she never had any, the way she sings!

Well think its more wishful thinking in her case, I was like that at the begining, but now its been so many weeks and only one was what I expected of her and I'm afraid that doesn't quite cut the mustard in the show!!!

But lets see, one week at the time...

I must say I have thought that, she seems out of all the contestants the one which has not really had lessons on use of microphone and how to start a song and control her voice.

Like Alexandra has obviously practiced hard as she has been trying for years, Laura has said she has been tyring. Diana went to like arts or drama school and all that. Ruth I'm not sure but seems to know how to do everything perfectly. Not sure about Daniel, JLS have also been together a long time, who else is there?

I think one of the problems is that both Rachel and Danni have a problem finding songs for Rachel. Criticize Simon all you want, but he know how to choose really cheesy music that showcases a singers voice and scores votes. I hate most of the music he chooses, but mostly his song choices are strategic and effective.
No More Drama is a produced song, and therefore not really suited for this kind of show. You have to look for strong, recognizable music, with as little production and background nonsense as possible.

According to her X factor page, Rachel has only had one music lesson before auditioning for X factor.

Alexandra is the daughter of a singer from Soul II Soul and she has the support of Stevie Wonder.

One of the JLS gang was on TV when he was younger and I think a couple of the finalists have been on 'Stars in Their Eyes'.

I suspect that Rachel has been concentrating on turning her life around which is why she hasn't worked on her voice a lot. She has figured out recently that singing is her talent and she obviously entered X Factor to try and profit from it. Good for her. I don't like her but I can respect her for that.

I agree that she probably won't win but I think this is a good thing for Rachel. She's more suited to singing R&B songs rather than the sort of stuff that X Factor winners have to sing.

Lemar didn't win Fame Academy but he's gone on to have a successful career.

I absolutely love Rachel but I agree, if she doesn't "bring it" this week then she does deserve to go.

Its such a shame its come to this... her parts on the Hero single show just how good her voice can sound when its recorded. Perhaps she just needs to be developed as an artist rather than thrown into a media circus style competition...

This is the XF a recording artist and her recording voice is amazing as seen on 'Hero' She's had no training so I don't expect her to have control over her voice, this is why she's a raw talent...

She does need some training in her live voice, but I think she's doing great considering everyone else has had training or sent to drama schools or whatever.

She will bring her wrath and nothing else. She needs to calm down and try being nicer to be people. You gotta fake it to make it!

The last two weeks I've expected Daniel and Rachel to be in the bottom two, but this week I think they finally will be.

Rachel will be okay though, because Simon and Lou Lou will 'secure' Daniel's demise.

She should never have been saved over Austin. It's gone completely mad this year.

Yes you keep saying that but when the hell are we going to see it? Austin sang her off the stage, there's no denying it.

She has had more chances than the more deserving others already.
It should have been too late during auditions after a few messy substandard performances.

At this point, there is plenty of evidence that she has no 'IT' to bring.

Before the live shows, it was said she better 'bring it'. She didnt.

Two weeks ago , the same thing about 'better bring it' was said...she didnt, then didnt again.

Even singing hero live, despite Rachel's bellowing, Ruth had a strongervoice, as did Alex. Credit to Daniel who sang quietly but well.
When they performed Hero as a four person group, they were in time and in tune...except for Rachel. The lower parts of the song are within her limited range and slow enough for her clumsy voice to catch up, yet she still bellowed offkey and off time.
She did seem to be performing with energy and feeling, much as you'd see from a karaoke singer who knows they arent as good as others in a local contest so tries to be aggressively 'come on, woo, brap brap' to make up for it.

It was time for her to go well over 2 weeks ago based on vocals alone,or talent alone.

I believe that her bellowing 'shat' vocals on No Good and Hero are the best she is capeable of, and even Daniel is overall better, though he doesnt have as rich a tone.

A rich tone over a pathetic range and inability to sing on key, in tune,in time, or with anything resembling dynamics is all she has shown week after week.

The show having kept her so long and deluding her that she can sing well enough for the sake of for trainwreck telly is not gonna help her toward that new life she keeps talking about. Time for her to go and find something she is good at .

If you call singing totally off key an amazing talent then yes, she's the dog's bits!

You can do as many rolleyes as you like, it won't make Rachel a better singer. She's absolutely the most limited of all the contestants left. Not long to go now

Rachel is crap. There is no way anyone can argue this.

She's awful and for her to be there over talent like Laura AND Austin is shocking.
