Anybody else gone off Laura throughout all this???
Throughtout bootcamp and the main shows Diana and Laura have always been my stand out favourites. I predicted (and wanted) a Diana vs Laura final as I thought it would be amazing. Since the live shows started they have both still remained my two favourites along with JLS and Miss Lorenzo - and they seem to be the only acts I care about.
BUT... Now she's left I've found her extremely bitter and ungrateful. Everyday we've had more stories saying how it wasn't fair and blah, blah, blah - and how Louis was voting tactfully (Everybody just forget that Simon and Danni voted her aswell Laura is out because we didn't vote her enough. She went through the same experience every other act that has been on the X Factor has gone through since Series 1. You didn't get the votes, you weren't good enough in the sing-off and you were voted out. I don't see Austin, Scott, Girlband and BadLashes STILL complaining 5 days on... Anybody else gone off her aswell? |

Yes I wish everyone would move on. It's the nature of the show, everyone was predicting Alexandra would be the shock exit and so they weren't expecting Laura to go but that's just how it goes sometimes.

No not in the slightest the tabloids print what they want to , I am sure LAura did not want all this publicity. Hopefully if nothing else it will enable her to get a contract with a decent label, and open the publics eyes to the manipulation of the show .

I've gone well off her. She seems really arrogant and almost as if she thought she was going to be in the final no matter what.
Just shows arrogance gets you nowhere. |

She was my favourite along with Diana (although I always liked Laura a little better)
But yes the whole bitterness thing has slightly put me off her |

Yes I have.
This is not the first time and it won't be the last time a so called favourite leaves early. And to be blunt I find this whole situation quite boring now. |

I used to quite like laura but have gone completely off her. Yes we all know her and ruth did not deserve to be in the bottom 2.. but at the end of the day they were the two acts who didn't get enough votes, meaning they must sing off. The best sing off gets to stay. Ruth did the best sing off. Therefore, she gets to stay. Its now thursday and people are STILL banging on about it.. for gods sake get over it ! The producers, judges, contestants and everyone behind the scenes of x factor DO NOT CARE anymore.. infact laura fans are doing them a massive favour by keeping them in the spotlight. So i suggest people get a grip and get over it. If she's that amazing she'll survive perfectly well without the x factor and get her own record deal (i heard she's received offers). |

Completely, in every single way. I have grown so tired of this.
We had a great, phenomenal performance from Ruth which none of Laura's performances from Auditions to Week 4 could have matched but this self congratulation, over-criticism, constant excuses and belittling of all around you is not charming and it isn't pretty either. I liked her. I wanted her to do well. I would have liked her to win. After all this, I have really gone off her and to know how much I've gone off her... ...I actually like Alex a bit now! |

No. Laura isn't responsible for the tabloids trying to whip up a story, nor for the unpleasant behaviour of a minority of her fans.

I haven't "gone off" her, as I don't really see that all this stuff in the papers etc matters anyway.
At the end of the day, she wants to be a recording artist. The only judgement I will make of her will be as a recording artist when I get to hear any album that she releases. If she releases an album with songs on it that I like, I'll buy it. If she doesn't, I won't. I don't really see how any other judgement at the moment is relevant - whether or not I like her as an X Factor contestant is now irrelevant as she isn't one anymore. |

I still love Laura. As far as I can gather she has handled herself brilliantly in all of this, and I haven't once heard her 'moan' as other people are saying.

I can't say I dislike her...although if it's her PR office releasing these stories then I want to smack them.
It's just boring now to be honest. It's the same story rehashed over and over again with nothing new really added. Hopefully there will be another shock this weekend and then everyone will move on. |

Not at all! I just don't understand why people can't differentiate between what Laura is saying and what people are saying about her. What is coming out of her mouth is entirely different to what the press are writing about her. She isn't whinging or complaining or taking this with anything but grace and dignity but people are putting words in her mouth and misrepresenting her. The only thing I would suggest she is doing wrong is having anything at all to do with The Sun.

I don't really see what Laura has done wrong. She has done a few interviews, just like any other contestant. I could understand you getting annoyed by the media and her fanbase.

I am really glad people have reacted because it means that she isn't going anywhere even though she has left the show. I hope she goes on to be really successful because she deserves it. And no, she hasn't done anything more than other contestants. And she has remained nice throughout.
