NOKIA N96 help

I phoned Vodafone today to ask how I can access the BBCi player, they said that this is still in production and should be available soon.......but, looking on the internet, I have seen various sites where users say they already have this installed.....can anybody help me out here ? Is it available now or not,,,if yes, how do I get it.
