Pfft...entirely made up story.....and all the fuss will make it even more likely she will win.
I bet they give her the prime final slot on Saturday as well....and have a contrived will she/won't she perform drama throughout the show. Not her fault of course. |

"She now believes she’ll be singing for her future on Saturday..."
Err, why is that any different to any week? Surely they're all singing for their future every week, that's kinda the point! |

“I felt under the weather all last week but didn’t want to miss the fireworks"
If you are in a singing competition and feel under the weather, you stay at home. At 17, there are going to be many more firework displays to watch. The story in The Star is just to make sure everyone now votes for her. |

Why is it just Laura fans she in fear of voting her off. The Dick who wrote this should think about it, because if people was piss because she missed the show they all would not be just Laura fans.
Silly stories from an insider of X factor just to hype the show up. |

Well I wont be voting for her, so the Star will not twist my thoughts or who I would vote for.
If she is still poorly folks, she should be given the FIRST spot on then she can go and rest! not the last spot, that makes little sense. But she will be last I am sure! Again she defends going to the fireworks, why! she obviously realises that was a wrong move. Maybe she should consider the backlash if there is one will have NOTHING to do with Laura, more to do with people thinking they smell rats and lies in these stories, and her little screeching session at the firework display will have more to do with it than Laura being booted off, maybe she does not want to face the truth but hide behind poor Laura being exited. Sorry I cannot see the Laura connection at all maybe someone can enlighten me! I also expect her IF she sings to get a very slow, non belty song, so that she does not strain her voice. Sad to see yet another story about her again today, shame the media do not realise most of us are fed up to the back teeth of reading about her and her illness, and bonfire night!:yawn: |

She is right though. You just have to look around this forum to see that it is the majority of Laura fans who are making the big deal out of Diana.
Everyone can see it despite how some are trying to dress it up. |

Well I do not agree with you, it is NOT just Laura fans, it is other fans as well.
I do not think Laura went home due to PD not singing, although I guess had she, she may have been bottom and not Laura! |

It's not 'Vote To Evict' it's 'Vote For Your Fav' - so she has no problem!

If the producers want to maintain the little bit of credibility the show has now, they should not Diana's illness as a sob story next week.
I understand it is not her fault that she was ill but it is not the other contestants' fault as well. |

Worry not folks, the winner IMO is already selected and we ( the public ) are just behaving like muppets, with our opinions and petty ideas and thoughts, but, I guess it just adds to the interest on these forums.

Look everyone THOUGHT Laura was a front runner, they did of Austin, they did of Rhydian and Sam Nixon and they all thought Gates was a sure winner, were they right NO.
My point here is that Laura and Austin have gone out way sooner than ANYONE thought, so I do not think you should sit thinking Diana is any different. Neit would it surprise you to learn that eggnog is polling the highest votes? as it has been published in a reputable paper that he is! Are they right I have no idea, but if they are Diana fans are wrongly thinking she has this in the bag. Unless she lives on the sympathy vote, which I am sure is what the producers are hoping for. I think Diana has not been getting the votes that they thought she would which is why they sacrificed Laura and Austin, and not Rachel and Ruth! They have left them in to sacrifice at a later date in the hope that those voting for Laura and Austin will vote for Diana. Austin wanted Laura to win he said so himself, so his fans I assume voted for her, or some of them will have. Now she has gone I am not sure who will pick up votes but I have a feeling from conversations an awful lot of votes could go to JLS. Oh and I do not dislike Diana, I just do not like her awful diction as I like to hear the words which is pretty much impossible on some of the songs she has sung and she slaughtered Blondies song! Poor ickle Diana from Blackburn
Sorry but why is she saying this (if indeed, she is saying it)? The backlash against her if any isn't anything to do with Laura, it'll be to do with the whole screaming 'toffee apples' thing on Bommy Night and then missing Saturday nights show which has been in all the papers now! What had that got to do with Laura? They are just trying to gain sympathy for her. Another sob story |
