If I have a Viera TV and a DMR-EX88EB can I record two programs - one from the TV's freeview receiver and one from the EX88's receiver - at the same time or will it only record one thing at a time.
Not unless the tv has a built in recorder, it's the same a the analogue system, you had a tv and a vcr, watching the tv and recording on the vcr. But now it's digital and with a dvd recorder you can only record one channel, to record two channels you need a pvr which has a hard drive but no dvd drive.
