Mail Order Cake/Chocolate Gifts
Poppy Seed
14-11-2008
Hi everyone

I would like to send my husband's parents and my parents a food gift, and wondered if anyone had any recommendations for cake or chocolate websites/mail order companies that do food gifts! I have looked at Hotel Chocolat and would love feedback on whether that is any good, but expecially cannot find a cake one!

Thank you,

PS

Hotel Chocolat is brilliant. We have been getting their monthly chocolate boxes and pressies for Xmas for a few years now. Expensive but well worth it.

Depends on the cake you want but Fortnum & Mason do lovely but very expensive stuff. You can order online and they deliver. If they wont recognise the name dont bother but i send an uncle a christmas pud every year and have never had any complaints!

Try this web site for all things cheesecakey!! We ordered the Christmas cheesecake a few weeks ago and it is delish!!!
Comes packed in dry ice so you can just pop it straight in the freezer and it also comes pre-sliced so you can just take out what you want

I love the White Chocolate Truffle one, and the chocolate fudge cake is gorgeous too (not a cheesecake, though!).

Although not the thread-owner, I went to the site today and ordered my parents the cake a month for a year. What a lovely gift! Thanks Stim

Try www.collinstreet.com They will ship cakes out from America - quite expensive but well worth it. I can reccommend the Pecan cake.
