Croc's balls, and 2 camps again.
Boom Head Shot

In a “major twist” the show is themed Home & Away, after the soap, and features two camps.

“Home” contestants will enjoy beds in a London bus and get British grub if they win tasks.

“Away” contestants must kip on the rat-infested jungle floor — and naughty celebs will end up in a filthy jail.

Yeah, yeah .....

The "celebs" actually spend every night in the Versace Hotel, but are "forced to" spend 2 hours a day filming for the televised "edits", if they're not doing a BTT or "task" .....

Now and again we get some genuine unedited footage (e.g. Gaffney), but the suggested "division" (if applied) will obviously be an ITV ploy to push their "boy" (or girl) forward, presumably suffering unimaginable "hardship" (see Biggins 2007) .....

..... the show gets more contrived every year, sadly .....

Two camps for the third year in a row... Getting tedious now.

Agreed, they've done the dividing the camps before and it's never made for more interesting watching before, so I wonder why they think it will this year.

As for the comments about the celebs spending every night in the hotel, don't you think that someone would have admitted to this or 'accidently' let this slip before now if it were true?

it would be better if one did die, ie they could possibly die in a trial or and i quote be eaten by the "Honey Badger" - Sir Jeremy Clarkson 2008

Uh Oh this spells trouble. They did this twist in Survivor Fiji (one of the worst series in the history of the show). The tribe living in luxury kept winning all the challenges because they had energy from the food and rest, while the tribe living in poor conditions were falling apart. It wasn't entertaining because the luxury guys were too happy all the time to bother getting in to fights or playing the game and the poor guys were too weak and lethargic to bother getting involved in anything.

Hope this doesn't go the same way.

I dont like it when they split the camps makes it a bit boring.

I hate it when they split camps because there's not enough people per camp to make it constantly interesting - if there were 16 celebs then 8 per camp would work for 10 celebs is too few to split them.

The camp split is only for a couple of days, they merge on Tuesday according to the We Love Telly tv guide.

Really? Were the even doing that in the years when ITV2 showed 12 hours footage a day?

Yep, did you see all of the celebs for every minute of those 12 hours ?????

And that still leaves 12 hours unaccounted for .....

You were implying they were only filming for 2 hours though.
Do you really think that NONE of the past Celebs would have revealed th truth by now if they all slept in Hotels?

This (from Wiki) is typical of the nonsene aimed at the show:

"criticism of the show is that it pretends to be more wild than it actually is. Audiences are left with the impression that the celebrities are in the Australian Outback far from any major settlement, "

Total rubbish! Every eviction shows that the Celeb is only a 4 minute walk from their family and a glass of champagne! ITV have NEVER tried to hide the fact. Ant & Dec go into the camp each day but make no secret of the fact that they will be back in the hotel or on the beach soon.

i hate split camps. it really put me off the show in previous years and it prevents them all interacting with one another be it good or bad
