Betting coup anyone?

Seriously I would be interested to know how much money is gambled on Strictly.

I must admit a few of the threads this week have made me think 'hmmmm....punter alert'.

I'm sorry John, but it's time you went to bed now with a nice hot cup of cocoa. Thanks for all the fun and laughs, but sometimes enough is enough.

Time for the duffer to pack it in. He's spoiling it for a lot of people who like to watch dancing, not a comedy show.

He just aint funny anymore, just tiresome to watch lumbering about.

He's not ruining the show for me, the judges do that, to be honest. Long may John survive! He's good fun, and does his best.

Betfair let you know how much has been staked. The "to win" market has had £144,000 staked so far (over the series) and there's £5,000 so far on who goes tonight.

Comparably the "to win" market for the X Factor has £1.4 Million on it and there's £21,000 on who goes tonight.

Please let John go tonight,on a high. It would be best for everyone involved, including the man himself. If he stays then I am sure he would feel tremendously guilty and would thereby ruin his experience.

I might vote for him tonight, Jodie will pick up a couple of votes from me, but depends how much the judges overmark others will dictate how I vote

If they overmark, I will take it out on them by voting for john

I think it goes without saying they will overmark to help their favourites on their way to the final. They have already decided who they want and have made it obvious.

of course he won't. the public have half the votes. if the public want him there why on earth should he feel guilty? Guilty because lots of us like him?

Go J&K - I'll almost certainly be voting for you!!

I think it's hilarious how everyone is getting thier knickers in a twist , they seem to view the prog as a serious dance competition , it's an entertainment prog and from what I can gather (I don't actualy watch the show ) he has entertained.

It would seem the "purists" (pretentious uptight twonks ) are getting all upset because the public like him and keep voting the others out.

When you base a prog on the idea of voting for favourites rather than voting for "the best" then you will find that people will vote for thier favourite personality over the person who may be best at the task.

John & Kristina's American Smooth didn't look half bad in training. They might just earn a few more votes from me

My priority tonight is to support Rachel & Vincent though.
