Jodie and Ian. They have been my favourite couple throughout. Ian is my favourite pro dancer and Jodie has really surprised me. At the start of the series I thought she would be a disaster because of her height but she has proved me wrong SEVERAL times and there is still room for improvement. Arlene was right about her. She is the dark horse this year.

But Rachel and Vincent's rumba deserves a special mention. As does Austin and Erin's tango. Two fantastic dances.

Rachel and Vincent and Austin and Erin were both fantastic, Rachel just edged it for me, because it was her first "wow" dance imo.
Thought Lisa and Brendan were fab too

Christine and Matthew were actually my favourite couple/dance this week.
I felt bad because I predicted a couple of weeks ago that she would be the next one to go as I kept forgetting about her when I tried to remember who was still in the competition. But since then she has done 2 amazing dances 2 weeks running.

I doubt Rachel went from having possibly the least number of votes last week to the most this week. It was a good dance but not THAT good. The judges clearly wanted to boost her a few places higher so she wouldn't be in the bottom two again. Unfortunately she still bores me stiff.

Hi Ellie! Only just spotted your post. I got it from this site:

http://strictlydancing.utopian-total...-9-couple.html

There are other similar polls dotted all over the net but the numbers are generally smaller.

Unless all the polls are wrong, they suggest that people on here somewhat underestimate Tom and Rachel's popularity and possibly overestimate Jodie and Christine's. I'd say there's little to choose between these 4, with Austin slightly ahead of the pack and Lisa lagging behind.

Tonight's show should give us a clearer indication of voting trends, if there are any. For all we know the public vote has been as unpredictable as ours!

(There's of course the sympathy/underdog vote which could go to anyone, especially with the projected 1-3 million extra viewers tonight...)
