Forgive my ignorance, but I'm intrigued - which HMs are thought to have come on here under assumed names? I'd love to read their version of events ...

I didnt say they had come on here under assumed names, if you go onto the official channel 4 forum some are on there is one, paulbo I think, is actually saying he IS Paul, which of course is impossible as I know at the moment Paul is in Australia, and altough it is of course possible for him to post from Australia do you think he would waste his time posting when he could be out enjoying himself, plus he was asked some questions which if he was Paul he would have been able to answer straight away.

thankyou, there is a lot more than meets the eye with these programmes, the voting for instance was, well I cant say rigged I suppose, but there were certain teens who were not allowed to be voted for, some of the things Tracey and Paul said were meant for other housemates but they werent allowed to choose them, I think you might know who I mean.

The voting in all the BB's have sparked a lot of debate about partiality. One of the reasons why I find BB interesting is how and why the programme is put together and the processes behind the scenes. Do you also have any details of how things were put together with the production of BB3 and BB4 as well as TBB and what went on after each BB finished?
There have been a couple of DS forum members who got quite far in the selection process for BB4 and have shared their experiences which were very interesting.
Such details do give a wider perspective about BB.

Tracey and Jade were both told they could not vote for Tommy, Tracey because the only reason she had was that he was her best mate, and Jade because of their fling (Tommy could not vote for Jade either)

That is right, but, and as I have said, if channel 4 read this forum I am in it, they WERE told what the prize was before they went into the room, all the HM's were told they could not vote for either Tommy or Jade, when tracey was saying she was going to vote the the HM who kept her the most entertained and was her best freind she was actually talking to Tommy, but voted for Paul, it was the same when Paul was voting he meant it to be Jade but said caroline. Tracey and caroline wanted to vote for tommy, well if james hadnt been disqualified she would have voted for him, but as she couldnt it would have been tommy, james wanted to vote for tommy as well, paul wanted to vote for jade, therefore, if they had been allowed tommy would have won.
Paul also wanted to take jade with him, but wasnt allowed, him and tracey hated each other so he wouldnt pick her, james was disqualified so he couldnt take him so he was just left with caroline. there you have it, most just dont know what goes on behind the scenes.

Thanks End1 ... that is explosive stuff. Would it be fair to assume that C4 did not want Jade or Tommy to win so that in some sort of ridiculous way viewers would not think that they were being rewarded for their intimate encounter.

This makes sense because Paul had next to no relationship with Caroline. Tracey was closest to Tommy etc.

Eejay, perhaps it was some sort of punishment for them, it could have been construed as a reward for doing what they did if either of them had won, still there is nothing that can be done about it now, Paul and Caroline come back next month, I just hope they have had a nice time, there have been a few slanging matches between them, but that was to be expected.

well we seem to have 2 reliable sources of info so Im thinking this is true but I dont know why Endemol made that rule. It spoils the whole show. Tommy and Jade deserved to win as much as anybody. I reckon either of them would have won it.

I dont understand what the point of that was at all.

I think they thought that if Tommy or Jade had won, that would have been seen as a reward for having sex in the house, so you see only 3 of the 6 housemates could ever win it! I have to admit at being a bit pi**ed off, because all it would have taken is "Would Tommy/Jade please come to the diary room"

I've given up hoping Sodemall will get it into their tiny brains that if they'd stop interfering with the show and controlling contestants so much then it'd be better to watch.

Any other game show wouldn't get away with this sort of rubbish so how come BB's exempt?

I am still not wiser about the reasons Endemol gave them for not being able to vote for Jade and Tommy. Friendship seems to me a good reason to support someone. What was the reaction of them about it? Was this discussed openly even if we didn't see it?

Knowing about this it does take the shine out of Paul winning

This programme was recorded remember, and was not supposed to be shown till Jan. for schools, that certain scene would not have been shown, other scenes would not have been shown either, it was mainly the tasks, and the chats, not the intimate ones like Shaneen had, that are going to be shown, none of the tantrums will be shown either, a lot of it is going to be taken up with the psychologist talking about what is happening in the house and how the teens are reacting to being in there and having to cope etc. No one will see the friendships that were formed between tommy and tracey, paul and jade, and of course hassan as they only showed a small amount of his time there, it was only after all that had been shown that some people, not all of course, couldnt beleive the voting and choosing in that room, when they were prep'd on who to pick etc ch.4 didnt think for one minute that people would pick up on it all, Tommy and Jade were punished for what they did, yet Ch.4 used them to try to boost ratings and make money, I am not saying for one min. that Paul didnt deserve to win, I am sure he will get a lot out of his trip, I am sure he would have enjoyed it more though if he could have taken someone he really liked with him. All of this came out to a family member who of course passed it round, she has wanted to go to the press with it but whats the point, they would never beleive it, and of course there is the chance Ch.4 would find out who it was and sue or something,

personally END1 i wonder who is actually the one in a position to sue ...

this lot look part in a competition with equal chances and regardless of how they behaved and endomol and channel 4 FIXED it ......

Tommy & Jade on holiday for 3 months paid for by Endemol could equal first teen BB resulting in a baby in 9 months.

And Paul also couldnt take Jade in case she came back pregnant.

I think it is true. End1, and the others, have repeatedly shown that they have considerable inside knowledge ... take a look at their posts this last week.
End 1 told us all about the 'chink' incident before we got to saw it, named the winner (one of two) etc. Plus end1's version of events fits in entirely with what we saw. IMO the C4 ending just doesn't seem to fit the events we saw on our tellies.

It is true though, there is no real authentication, its like the press you cant really beleive all you read there either, and thats something I didnt think about with Tommy and Jade, although I reckon Tommy would have taken Tracey if he had won, but the same thing still applies I suppose, they do have to think about things like that, and what if Paul had taken a male, not being funny but would there have been talk then.
