First people complain about the lack of action, and when they get action they complain more.

Seriously, us Brits are a funny bunch, never happy with anything, always find something to critisise.

I thought last nights episode was fine, probably the best one of the BBT Series, It had alot of action, shouting, fun etc, and at the end to finish It off was SEX (Ahh sex? Not sex? Us Brits dont like watching sex, its naughty and innapropriate ) Get a grip. Whats wrong with It anyway? If thats what happened In the BB House then show It afterall we are supposed to be seeing how teens act and react in everyday life.

Boring characters, no action, no arguments, all luvly and unnatural *cough*BB3 or a bunch of loud mouthed, fun, exiting Teens who obviously arent THAT concious about the cameras?

I think they withdrew the offer half way through Big Brother 4 for some reasons of which im not familiar.

Jade and Tommys relationship just isnt interesting. They are non verbal, dominant, limited expression, wildcat-like, threatening types doing what they probably do all the time with no-one in particular. Tommy seems like a drinking fighting womaniser and Jade seems like an explosive, pleasure-seeking, territorial cat fighting girl. They are both the dominant ones in the house (with their threatening undertones)

Funnily enough tho, I think they are a good match and can see them staying together and are good for each other.

They are both very sensitive people and I think Tommy will be ok in the long term and hopefully Jade will too. They both have redeeming qualities that may become dominant in the long run.

I thought Mel and Toms flirting was interesting cos I didnt know if they were going to do it or not and they were sort of testing each other.

PJ and Jade was boring too altho they were even less interesting than Tommy and Jade since anything involving PJ is horrible.

I state this from having spoken to many many teenagers and most of their life is spent doing things that they "donno" why they are doing it !

At that age it is all sex for the sake of it ! Romance comes a lot later when you start thinking about another person other than yourself and your hormones !

There only saving in life is the fact that thankfully, "Most" do grow out of it !!!

I can see where you're coming from but you just can't extrapolate what you did from what I said. Of course I'm not going to admire a racist for making 'honest' racist remarks or a member of the National Front for banging on about their views just because those people are honest.

I think what you were getting at is that you shouldn't support someone if you don't agree with the views they have and I'm certainly the first to admit I don't share all of Cam's views.

But at what point should we condemn someone for having beliefs different to our own and cease to respect that persons different viewpoint ? I suppose we all draw the line in different places.Cam's views came from being a baptist .Perhaps you think he shouldn't be a baptist if the baptist church makes demands of peoples lives which you think are unacceptable but there's hardly a major religion in the world that doesn't seek to control sexuality etc. If Cam hadn't been asked the questions he was asked in the diary room I doubt any of us would be any the wiser today. Endemol knew the answers Cam would give in the diary room before he'd even been asked the questions because Cam couldn't answer any other way without denying his faith. It seemed to me that he 'd been set up . (Yes, I know you take the opposing view that endemol wanted him to win )

I wasn't arguing that Cam was the epitomy of decency and morality etc but that he was perceived as moral and that the public liked that. I do think he's a decent , sound person but I know you don't and its been done to death else where , so I'm not going to start all that again because I just think we'd go on for ever and never agree.

Ben, hasn't this been done to death ? It doesn't follow from what Cam said that he is homophobic. Gay Marriage and the need for reform is a massive issue within the church. He isn't telling people what they should and shouldn't do. His attitudes re sex before marriage are contrary to the beliefs of the great mass of the heterosexual public too . He mamaged to espouse views which would be unpopular with just about the whole population ! I'm sure it is a personal thing and that he isn't telling other people how to live their lives. I fully expect that if Cam were gay he would remain celibate if he thought that that was what the bible dictated. It doesn't follow that he hates everyone who has sex before marriage or that he hates the gay population.

Is age an antidote against stupidity and irresponsability?

I have had a nagging thought all this week... Are these people representative of 18 years olds in this country? ... I find them very inmature for their age... If I hadn't known different, I would have thought they were 15 or 16 years old

maybe kids in this country get it too easy

Well I am lucky enough have 2 neices and 2 nephews who are all teenagers.
They are not really much like these teenagers in that they do seem to be a lot more mature.
Having said that they do all have sulky moments and the occasional hissy fit.
So my feeling is that no, these are not necessarily representative of most 18 year olds, but perhaps i'm just lucky to know only good/sensible ones.

Sadly I would say they are representative of a vast number of 18 year olds in this country but thankfully not all. It is the same with teenagers as people of all ages, there will always be a vast range of maturity within a particular group due to other factors such as parental influences, education and general social backgrounds.

I have noticed in recent years however, from a purely personal viewpoint I hasten to add, although I am sure there will be plenty of documentary evidence around should one care to bother researching it, that there does seem to be a general downward trend amongst our young people in terms of lacking a sense of responsibility, both for their own actions and the effect it has on others. This whole concept of 'blame someone else because it is never my fault' seems to be growing.
