I just thought it was embarassing for everyone. I was half expecting her to finish her song to complete silence in the studio, and then run off.

You know that noise Chewbacca makes when he's right angry...?
Plus, I know dogs hear in registers we don't and my dog seemed deeply shaken by the howling sounds coming from the telly, this evening. |

![]() Also, this thread was created to go with the other 101 tonight slagging Diana off. Why not ask what we thought of EVERYBODY'S performance, why single Diana out? Rachel was poor, I don't like her voice, you don't like Diana's. You don't see me banging on about it at any opportunity I get. Diana is recovering from laryngitis, it's obvious that she's not going to be at her best, it was a good performance, her voice was good and I enjoyed it. So why don't you (and every other idiot on this forum who can't offer constructive criticism) get a grip, get over it and move on? Is it so difficult? |

Dolores O'Riordan with a bad head cold. That's what she sounded like to me. Fair play to her for giving it a go though with so little time to rehearse.

Well I'm not going to slag her off. I think for her age she is indeed a unique and quirky young artist trying her best to showcase her potential.
I don't even think that she is out of her league, because I believe that she has a unique league of her own in this competition. So good luck to her in that respect. However....I do wonder where she got the idea of using her voice the way she does. Linkin Park...albeit a male singer is probably just one example of where I hear this type of shouty vocals. This guy still hasn't lost his voice...but can also change it in an instant.... I wonder if Diana has been inspired by artists such as this.
