Anyone else left disappointed.....
After watching last nights show i was left disappointed I thought some of the song choices were terrible and thought it was one of the weakest shows!! Considering it was supposed to be best of British, they could have picked some much better songs!!! Leona Lewis was absolutely amazing - only highlight of the show in my opinion! Anyone else agree?
Diana was brilliant even though she had a sore throat. Her or Alexandra to win. Cannot wait until the Take That week next week. |

I think Alexandra is the only one with real talent - Diana is original and quirky - Sort of Kate Bush like, but the X-factor isnt right for her style. JLS are great for the pop-market.

Well it wasn't the best show I'll grant you but then I think I was probably watching a different programme entirely to you judging by your 'Diana was brilliant' comment. Screeching, bawling, mispronouncing words, hitting about one note in twenty on key - she sounded like a buffalo giving birth. It was a dreadful performance. How even the most dedicated Diana fan can say any different is beyond me.

Yeah I agree totally. Even the judges seem a bit bored with it - no banter or much in the way of fun last last night.
Thought Simon wished he was somewhere else - it DOES annoy me he spends most of his time twisting round talking to whoever is behind him. Im surprised Cheryl could move her gob with the amount of slap she had on. Louis wasnt his normal chirpy self either. Dannii was the only one who looked pleased to be there. Song choices and performances were distincly average for me. Even JLS who usually inject some fun just seemed incredibly cheesy, Alex was dull, Diana was screechtastic bloody awful and even my usual favourite Ruthie had me cringing at some notes in her song. It all felt a bit flat to me - I hope next week they bring back a bit of fun with it - at the end of the day, its meant to be an ENTERTAINMENT show and I didnt feel that entertained last night. |

Apart from the Diana bit, I've just started a similar thread.

It was a train wreck of a perfomance. It was excruciating to listen to. I would rate it as the Xfactors worst ever performance. It was seriously bad. |

I think this will be one of the most, contraversial seasons, of XFactor. In all seriousness, I would like to see published Phone Votes, because, i'm really not buying those 'Results' at all.
the 'Results' just aren't making any sense? compared to the 'performances'. it's clear and obvious, the ground work, is being laid for Diana, to win, however, i think Ireland, will stop that happening, as Eaghon, has a MASSIVE base vote, before he even starts singing. I suspect, the Judges, are as fed up, as everyone, watching. |

See how the focal point of this thread has instantly been turned round to Diana- and it isn't by her fans. If you dislike her so much, stop moaning about her, because the judges will favour her as long as she is getting the most attention!

It did make Alex Parks' performance of the song on FA sound tuneful though and that's saying something. |

I Have Never Liked Daniel At All. But Last Night Must Have Been The Very First Time I Actually Enjoyed What He Sang. I Thought The Tom Jones Song Really Suited His Voice. Rachel Is Very Lucky She Is Still In The Competition.

Er ... could that perchance be because the OP made the statement 'Diana was brilliant'? I hadn't realised that respondents to this thread were supposed to let that bit go unchallenged and just respond to the rest of the post! Silly me. I must develop my mind reading skills! |

I agree that the whole show was a let down last night - no one really stood out and a few of them were absolutely awful.

I also suspect the judges were overwhelmed, by the media craziness of last weeks choices. |

I believe the OP was referring to the entire show being rather flat, song choices, atmosphere- that was the point of the thread. Their personal opinion of Diana was however the bit that everybody pounced on, and dare I say it, the only reason for most of the responses. All I'm saying is there are 80 'Diana was w**k' posts you could have responded to, why bring it into every other thread as well and challenge everyone who dares to say otherwise. None of this matters either way, contriversy sells mate, and you guys are going to slate her right to the top spot
![]() You're right, none of it matters anyways and Diana's lousy performance may be the topic on here today but it will be tomorrow's chip wrappings! As for 'slating her all the way to the top spot', she's going to need all the help she can get in that department, because if she's relying on talent alone she hasn't got a hope in hell. |
